Thread not picking up
Have you checked that your machine is threaded correctly?
Have you checked that the thread is correclty placed in the bobbin feeder and pulled through correclty?
Can not transfer designs from computer to mc10001. Error reading "can not be registered".
Are you using a Null-Modem cable to connect the computer to the machine? With the Futura I owned it would only work with my version of Windows by downloading a patch from Singer web site.
My machine "saves" the last 10 patterns, at some point I have to delete the saved patterns to make room for transferring another pattern. Also, if the pattern is too large the machine will not transfer it. Try reducing the size.
Good Luck!
Safety Device Activates but no error message
It sounds like there may be something inside the machine. This happened to me twice. The first time was the wrong stabilizer. The second time I had a piece of thread inside the machine. When I opened it to see the thread was activating the error beep in the machine. I hope it helps.
Bobbin case is dislodged and keeps rotating in the assembly
You must make sure that the case is resting against the silver spring at the bottom and slightly to the right. The part of the case resting against that spring prevents the case from rotating. There should be a red fuzzy piece on your bobbin case, and that belongs at the top underneath the feed dogs. Also, you must have the plastic cover on when you sew or embroider--it prevents the bobbin from jumping out. Your manual actually has a drawing of the correct position for your bobbin case. It also shows you how to thread your bobbin case; it is important to keep your hand on the bobbin so that tension is applied to the thread while you're threading it. It is easy to not get the thread in the "eye" on the left side of the case if you are not exerting tension on the thread. If you cannot find your manual, a PDF version is in a directory entitled "Manuals" in your Futura software on your computer. I'm attaching a photo; this is actually a photo of the Futura XL case, so there is no red piece (which is meant to cut down on lint from the thread, by the way), but otherwise it is the same.
I cannot thread my bobbin, I can sew. When I try to thread the bobbin, Code 88 starts flashing.
You said "trying to THREAD the bobbin." Did you mean it happens when you put an empty bobbin on and push the spindle to the right? Is your needle all the way up? If so, pull the buttonhole lever ALL the way down, then smack it up, and check to make sure the twin needle lever is not selected. Frankly, I'm not in love with that system anyway; you might think about purchasing an inexpensive Sidewinder for less than $20. You can order from WalMart online; if you pick it up at a WalMart or FedEx facility like Kinko's, shipping is free. Believe me, you'll do yourself a favor; many problems with these machines are actually caused by loosely wound and/or badly wound bobbins. Also, think about purchasing prewounds; they're actually cheaper than winding your own.
Lights blinking on singer futura
The most likely cause of this is the needle is not ALL the way up, although it may look like it is. The CE machines are VERY sensitive to the needle position. The second cause is putting on the small hoop and turning on the machine; with the small hoop on, it cannot set to its default position. If you want to use the small hoop, leave all hoops off, then put in on AFTER you have turned on the machine.

Auto punch software issue
First, after you have installed the basic software and before you can install any add-on software, you must start your machine with the USB cable plugged in on both sides, so that Windows can actually install the driver. Then, start the Futura basic software one time, then close it--you don't have to actually do anything, just start it up. Then, check the Futura Support site http://www.futura-support.com. There is a patch you should run before installing the AutoPunch software for your model. Make sure you also download the instructions as well.
Thread my bobbin, Code 88 starts flashing & all lights
I owned a CE-200 for about six years, and as I recall, that code blinks if your needle is not all the way up. If it is NOT up, operations are suspended until it is. That means that the hoop cannot reset to its default position.
When I thread the bobbin, code 88 flashes, what is that?
Try zero your embroidery hoop carriage by off/on your machine before your next application, if no result disconect your embroidery unit and connect back again ensuring it is properly connected. Hope the problem can be solved.
Thread bunching on back
Check your tension. It should be on about 4 for regular cotton fabric. Adjust it according to the thickness of your fabric if this continues.
How do you know when the feeder dogs are up and
you can see the feed dogs in the needle plate area and be able to feel them with your fingerand the machine will sew a straight stitch when the feed dogs are in the up sewing positionif the feed dogs are down then the machine will not sew only stay in one position
