One watch will not charge

People like me at Fixya don't provide parts for warranty products, but its probably not the battery.
You aren't looking for advice ... but I'll provide a little anyway. Most of the time the customer has unknowingly plugged a charger into an outlet that turns off when the light switch (on the wall) is turned off. So the battery never charges.

BellSouth FW13ZHHS Two Way Raido Instructions

Hello AlBitz,

The Bellsouth FRS radios were actually made by a company called US Electronics. Their branding agreement with Bellsouth ended in 2005 but they are continuing to sell radios that are very similiar to the ones they made under the Bellsouth name. These radios are marketed under the name Xact.

Your best bet to locate a manual for the Bellsouth 1061 radio may be contacting Xact. Their website is located at: http://www.xactcommunication.com.

Best Regards,
Ken

Is the two way radio easily fixed, suspect mic, or is it garbage?

If you can do minor soldering, you may be able to fix the radio. They have no parts available, so they are considered "junk" when they break. But if you do the following, you may be able to repair it: open radio, unscrew the housing and pull it apart. Take the circuit board and look for corrosion, it often looks greenish or white. If the radio has a lot, there is water damage. You may still be able to fix it. You've gone this far! Use a Q Tip dipped in rubbing alcohol and remove as much corrosion as you can. Let it dry. Take your soldering gun and lightly resolder each spot on the circuit board. Touch the tip, as soon as the solder turns liquid, remove it! I have fixedhundreds of radios and cell phones by doing this. But it may not work. It just takes your labor! Good luck!

My Bellsouth 1010 Wilkie talkies power up fine. Can blow and this transmits fine but talking does not transmit. What am I doing wrong?? I am on the same channel with both.

Please try to have the 2 receivers at least 20-30 ft apart. You may be overloading them if you are too close.

I have a set of Bellsouth walkie talkies and on one, all though I can change the volume settings, I can not get it loud enough to hear unless i put it tight to my ear

Very likely a blown speaker. Those speakers do not stand up to weather well and may have gotten wet. The only solution is replacement. Since you cannot buy a speaker, you would need to buy another radio and use it for parts. Better yet, buy a working radio and use you old one for parts.

I have 2 bellsouth 2250 walkie talkies and have set them both to the same channel and subchannel, but cannot get them to communicate. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. You have already said channel, which is frequency and sub channel, which is called a lot of things. You are 99% ahead! My best guess: turn them Off and On. Then check the channel and subchannel again. One of the radios did not save the information or lock it into the memory. The On/Off cycle may save it and they will work! Let's cross our fingers. But do not hesitate to reprogram them as many as 3-5 times and look for a SAVE feature in the manual. Best of luck!
