H is the headphone output, J is the MIC input (ring on jack), 9 is the PTT input (Tip on jack) and 8 is the ground.

You may not be able to. If you have the programming software and cable look for the W/N option for each channel. I don't think the EPH is NB compatible.

none of the LMH radios are narrow band capable, also no "L" series radios are narrow band capable. Most "E" series are though.

With BK radio the "H" tells you it is VHF "U" is UHF. So LPH, GPH, DPH, GMH are all VHF.A EPU would be a UHF. Michael

Pin 3 is ground and pin 2 is the PTT line. Short these two pins to activate the PTT.
