Where to put oil in
No, no, no! Do not oil all over. Consult your owner's manual. If your machine is computerized, the oil will most likely damage the computer components. Evenso, there are belts and plastic parts that should not be oiled. If your machine is mechanical, rock the handwheel gently and apply ONLY 1-2 drops (fresh, good quality sewing machine oil) every place that metal rubs against metal. Tri-Flow Synthetic Lube is very good as it contains teflon and does not dry out like regular sewing machine oil.Since it is a serger, oiling more frequently would be good (perhaps every project) but limit to only a couple drops of oil. Over-oiling is not good unless you like having to clean up the excess and getting it on your fabric!...

I want instruction manual for
To download a copy of the USER'S MANUAL for your machine, just go to the Singer Support site for your model at the following link (just click on the text below with your mouse):
http://www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html
When you get to the support page, enter the model number 14SH654 in the empty search box in the lower right hand side of the page.
On the next page click on the little red FREE DOWNLOAD button.
It will be at the right hand side of the second or fourth item on the list. Pick which version is yours.
After you click on that button, it will ask you if you want to open or save the file.
Choose SAVE.
Now Choose a location on your computer where you would like to save the file.
The easiest place is just right on your DESKTOP so it will be easy to find later.
Now click SAVE.
Once the download completes in about 5 seconds,
Click on the OPEN button.
If the document opens then just read it, or print it off if you want, or just leave it on your computer to reference when you need it.
If the document does not open, then you may need a PDF viewer program like ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.
Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there and follow the onscreen instructions to install it.
Install the ADOBE READER program then you can come back to your desktop and open the USER'S MANUAL document without a problem.
Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.
Thank you very much and good luck.

Need to by part for yamata overlock sewing machine
Contact Yamata directly, that is the only way to get parts unfortunately. The have an office in Florida that they ship parts from but you may want to order more than just your looper because they only ship ups.

Sewing machine stopped making the stich
Unthread the needles, rethread the loopers properly, then rethread the needles. Make sure that all four threads are pulled securely into the tensions and retry.
The loopers must always be threaded before the needles or it will not chain.
