First check the right side cover where the image unit is located. Check the two latches that latch the door ensure they are not broken, especially the rear one. Then get a paper clip and stick the clip in the small hole on the right side of the control panel it will touch a switch. The control panel will go thru some screens when you see the screen with the copiers on it on the left side of the screen in the middle you will see a small "." When the dot appears touch 3 button. Then the machine will continue to the code screen. Press the utility button you should see a new button "Maintenance Mode" touch it then touch trouble reset. The machine will again go thru screens you will see the"." again do nothing. Should go ready to Copy. If the code comes back do not reset you are messing with the Fuser the Hot part continue reset without a technician looking at and or replacing it. It is a fan error.The fan is not easy to replace...... The fan is located under the black transport belts. The fan is part of the unit that brings the paper from the transfer & drum to the fuser unit. The unit is black and it looks like tank tracks. From what I remember the fan is acturely in the transport unit ... Good Luck.

Sir/Mam Power off the machine. Then remove the toner bottle, be careful the hole might be on the bottom and the toner is going to go everywhere. Then close the toner cover and turn on the machine. Let the machine go through it normal routine. When it asks for toner install the toner bottle correctly. If THE KNUB on the side of the bottle is damage put a new one in. That KNUB is what the toner motor uses to turn the bottle, if it damaged you get a code. If that does not work, you might have a bad motor or the home sensor or actuator for the toner bottle is bad worse case the control board is bad. The machine is capable of three speed 23, 21, 19 pages per minute well the machine thinks it is one speed when the control board or the software is set to another, you need a tech to come out and reset the machine or the firm ware/board is incorrect for that machine, no you can not get the firmware on line it is located at a secure web site, Konica Minolta likes to protect its copier software. I am also facing this trouble, with Di3510. some time machine work for many copies fine. then suddenly the 0500 error code appear. I checked complete fuser unit... Both lamps are ok, Thermo switch is ok, i checked both thermistors and in my view they are ok (checked with multimeter while warming them). I first reset the code as mentioned in the service manual of this machine. the code can remove but it comes back after some time. I checked the Electricity voltage as this machine is 120v input. Voltage are ok. Then i ask my Electronic board expert to check the Power supply and he told me that the power supply is ok... just some dry sold he found. So until now i am not able to detect the trouble even though i arranged another fuser unit of the same machine and it also gave the same error code c0500. As i am a Technision of copiers. Please give any good suggestion if any one have. Thanks
