open the front door get down on the floor look up at the slant section right side will see a small hole you will not see it standing up get a small, small screwdriver push the button inside the hole to hit the reset switch. if the code comes back replace the FUSING UNIT the hot part. worse case the control board is bad$$$$$$. Do not continue to reset it can catch on fire and that would ruin a perfectly good day. Clean the optical parts and the charge and discharging coronas.

Hold utility down when switching on for 20 sec trouble reset should appear. Click ok then reboot. If code returns engineer required.

Cear the consumabile parts life counter.

SOLUTION: Check the amount of toner in the affected unit and if empty, check the alignment of the toner sensor actuator arm. It is possible that the arms may have been jarred out of alignment during shipment and fail to sense the low/empty toner condition. This in turn, causes the IU to drop below the proper toner-to-developer ratio resulting in C-0F3x codes. Once the actuator has been properly positioned, run ATDC toner supply until the T/D ratio comes back into the specified range.

Every imaging unit has a life. There is a chip which gets signal from imaging unit about when to stop printing. That is the reason when it stops the page before that prints just fine. And we thing that it can print lot more pages. But this is not true. You should buy a new one.

Having said that still there is a way to rest the ram on the chip so that it ignores the signal from imaging unit. You can try to reset that and see if it prints more pages. Here is the instructions to reset.

1 Turn the printer off.
2 Press and hold the GO button.
3 Turn the printer on and continue to hold the GO button.
4 After the Go, Ready, and Attention LEDs turn on, continue holding for at least 20 seconds.
During this process, the Attention, Ready, and Go LEDs will each turn off.
5 Release the GO button.
6 The device LEDs will begin cycling from front to back. The NVRAM-init process runs until the
printer is in the Ready state.
7. Press the red cancel button.

reinstall driver again go devices and printers right click printer then trouble shoot it.

This is a common problem i have seen with the scan motor drive belt check the tension on the scan motor is correct and that the drive pulleys are secure on the shaft
