Drum Cleaning Blade failure. Open up the top half of the machine as if you were removing a paper jam. Now look under the top half and about in the center from left to right. You should see a burgundy colored cylinder running from the front of the machine to the back. If you can see the toner streaks on the surface....expecially on the 1/3rd like on the copy then this will be proof that the drum cleaning blade is the cause. Simple repair for a tech that knows copier basics. A good estimated cost would be about $25.00 for the blade and whatever the going rate is for a service call in your area.
Not working Minolta having a code c05, red LED on
A part in your fusing unit has failed. The fusing unit is the part that gets hot just before the paper exits the machine. Most common part to go bad is the thermal fuse. Located under the top cover of the unit. If you are mechanically inclined this is enough info for you to solve the problem. If not you will need a service tech to repair the machine. Could be the heater lamp but 9 times out of 10 it is the thermal fuse.

This unit has a history of the High Voltage unit going bad. NOT good news, and NOT a cheap fix.
Copying only half copies
Sounds like the charge corona wire may be out of place, or the scortron grid is shorting. It is NOT the HV unit.
