Gentlemen, I have a GE P547BS fan motor.I'm trying to replace it with a Mars 10584 fan motor.

You can check the colors on the wires with an ohm meter to find there function. Highest resistance is low speed lowest resistance is high speed the one left is medium.

I have a new ge air conditioner model ahl05 window type when I run the unit on lo fan every thing works when I switch to hi fan the fan stops

Either the hi speed fan motor windings or switch are defective. Take it back to where you purchased it and get a another one if you have had it for less than 90 days. Otherwise it would be covered under the GE warranty.

Replacing an old ge three wire that has a W, Y and a 2 (that has a blue wire attached) terminal, not sure where to wire in the "2" wire, is for electric heat with standard cooling unit

I don't remember a #2 terminal designation....but some old Lennox systems had a #4 to signify the 24v power terminal. Standard lettering within the industry calls for W to be the 'heat' terminal and Y to be the 'cool' terminal so following that logic, by elimination 2 would be the terminal that's common to the other two making that the 24v power terminal. Just a guess though. Typically the old three wire stat was a Honeywell 'series 90' circuit and seldom seen used residentially.

My GE AC starts to beep when I only turn it on for a while

Probably a bad sensor. Remove the sensor and clean it good or replace it. Todays newer stuff relies on a sensor to tell the beard what the conditins are in the house. The board sends a small dc voltage through the sensor and measures the sensor. Changes in temperature cause the voltage to fluctuate and this tells the brain when to shut down the machine. Long story short the sensor thinks the house is cool enough. Less than 5 bucks a sensor is easy to change out. It has a quick connect, check it for corrosion, with any luck all you need to do is clean it up. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61

I have a vintage GE "in wall Air Condidtioner" 26x17 still cools but is spitting out black soot? Why and what can be done

I'd start with opening it up and carefully cleaning the entire insides, cleaning or replacing air filters, etc. If you continue to get black stuff, look inside and see where it's coming from. The blower motor may be going bad.

Iam replacng my home a/c blower motor. My unit hasa red a black and a white wire. My new motor has a black wire a blue wire a red wire and a yellow wire. I need to know which color wire goes to which

On the original motor, red was low speed, black was high speed and white was common. The new motor should either have a diagram on the side of it or within the box for verification, but the black SHOULD also be high speed and the red wire SHOULD be low speed , the blue wire SHOULD be medium and the yellow SHOULD be common. However, you MUST verify those connections on the wiring diagram provided with the new motor before you connect or you will probably let out the MAJIC SMOKE !!! The speed you decide not to utilize can just be taped off and zip tied to the bundle. You made no comment about two brown wires, and if either motor has two browns, they go to the run capacitor.
