Bionaire Dual Fan, one fan is not working?

Take it apart and swap the fans over. If the none working fan still doesn't work, you need a new fan motor. If the none working fan does work, you have a wiring issue. https://www.google.com/search?q=Bionair+Dual+Fan ..

The lights come on but the fan blade doesnt turn

Check the thermal fuse located inside the motor fan winding wire. Check the crystal oscillator and micro-controller located in the printed control board of the fan. When it is replace with similar type, the fan will function again and ready to be use.
Thanks for asking.

Well, we loved our fan

Hi this is a very common problem with fans, now what has happened is that over time dust has got into the part that the fan blades spin on and this has dried up the grease that prevents the fan from stopping like it has done, using it like this will cause it to over heat and this will then cause the motor to short out and stop working all together.

now if it hasnt all ready shorted out then their is one thing you can try, make sure its not plugged in then you need to remove the cover that stops you touching the fan once this is removed you will be able to see how the fan comes off its drive, you need to take the fan off and give the part its spins on a good clean then get some grease or vaseline and give it a coating with this then put it back together this should then make your fan work unless the motor has all ready over heated.

you need to grease all the moving parts and then this will get the fan working again dont try switching it on whilst you have it in pieces make sure you put it all back together before switching it on, also check the fuse in the plug as this will blow if it has over heated.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
