Check disposer plug. If a garbage disposer has been recently installed, it is possible the disposer drain plug was not removed. The drain plug is a plastic piece in the disposer that blocks the hole where the dishwasher hose connects. Also check the hose connected to the disposal. Mine apparently had a kink in it. When I straightened the hose the dishwasher drained at full speed (I recently had a plumber re-route a hot waterline. He must has bent the hose). Hope this helps. If not go to the GE website. We just bought a used version of the GE Nautilus and we were able to get a generic "fits most portable dishwashers" adapter and it worked great. We went to Fred Meyer (which I believe is a Kroger company in the NW) and it was the only one they had. It only cost $3.99. The brand is Plumb Craft by Waxman and the model number is 76-127. Dishwasher Faucet Aerator. Hope this helps!

if the dishwasher has not been used for a few weeks, the water in the sump that goes into the pump will evaporate causing the pump to freeze up. usually you can turn the fins inside the motor to free it up. make sure the dishwasher is not on when you do this.

Hello Wes. Begin by installing a new o ring. Take off the old one and take it to a hardware store to get the correct replacement. Also pick up a little tube of O ring lube.

check water level is ok. check its heating. open door when in operation and check if spray arms are rotating. if not, take them out, run water into centre hole and check water comes out of jets. note the spray arms only rotate with water coming out of angled jets at end

GE has a kit available for the undercounter installation of this dishwasher, I recommend the purchase of this kit to simplify your install.

This is usually caused by the plastic float in the bottom of the unit being stuck OR a failed float micro-switch.

The parts you need to look at are items 302, 305, 306, 307, 308 and 490 this link:

Check the stem from the BOTTOM. It should slide up and down freely. Listen for the microswitch to CLICK as you lift it up and down. No click = bad switch. If it is sticky you will have to remove the float and clean the whole assembly.

Concentrate your efforts in this area and I am sure you will resolve the issue.
