If your laptop has a HDMI output, and your TV has a HDMI input, then use a HDMI-to-HDMI cable, which carries both "audio" and "video" signals.

Otherwise, you need a cable from the "headphone" output from your PC into the "RCA" stereo-audio inputs into your TV.

if you are using a anti virus program from your old provider this can cause problems with the switch over,,,had a problem like this switching from charter good luck

Generally the keyboard is removed first then you can tackle the LCD. I'm surprised you are replacing it as LCDs are expensive.

I suppose it could be something as simple as the switch was turned off by accident. On my laptop, there is a small slide switch below the front edge. It is easy to move it, you may have done so moving the laptop or whatever. Look for it, there should be a small yellowish light come on when the wireless is on.

Check for the Tower looking button at base of screen near hindge hit the button it shoouldl turn on its very vunerable at top so you will have to be carefull not to turn it off inadvertantly Blue tower lite should go on immediatly ABOVE KEYBOARD NEAR BASE OF SCREEN looks like a small tower

Which browser are you using? You see, I experienced a lot to trouble with MSIE 8, for what I switched to Google Chrome some time ago. So far, so good. I launch IE on very specific situations, ever since.

try going into safe mode F5. reboot and keep tapping F5 if you can get into safe mode try a system restore back to the time it was working. if not reload from recovery drive (F11 i think) or from recovery disc.

After you lift the screen you will see 3 or 4 smallrubber plugs at the top and 2 at the bottom, if you have fingernails they come out easily if not a small flat screwdriver. You will now see the screws now just gently work your way around the screen and it will just clip off........cheers from Scott

got to the BIOS using F10 or F1 ..try to tap the numbers and letter keys ..if u get the beep sound then its not a problem with the MB ..but if u dont get a beep sound ...

If you get the same fault at the same point during installation then it could be the following:

1. You have a Windows disk that is corrupt, possibly due to scratches etc.
2. You have memory that is faulty and therfore try to install taking one stick out at a time, if you have more than one stick.
3. Your hard drive requires replacing because there is physical failure to segments of your disk.

Open control panel then open system properties select advanced open performance options goto advanced and click change you will see drive space chose custome size change the initial size to something near (not the same or above) the maximum size then reboot your pc.
