I would try changing the charger first. Seeing as it may be faulty and would be the least expensive part to change.

turn on the system and continue tapping the f8 to get in to safe mode and select safe mode with networking, once you get in to windows, do a system restore. and reboot your computer again.

I believe you're having problem with the Operating System on your computer. Unfortunately, Lenovo will not provide a product key for the Operating System since the an OEM version. What you can do is reinstall the Operating System using the One Key Recovery Sofware or the Recovery Disc that came with the computer. Follow these steps for you to be able to reinstall the Operating System using the One Key Recovery.

1. Turn off the computer.

2. Press the little button near the power button, it usually do have a drawing of an icon that looks like a horse shoe or a headset.

3. There will be a window that will appear which do have three option, One Key Antivirus, One Key Recovery and System Setup. Choose One key Recovery.

4. There will be another window that will appear which do have two option, Restore from initial backup and Restore from user backup,Choose Restore from initial back up

5. It will asked you if you want to continue, Just click on OK or YES.

6. Once done, Reboot the computer.

What happens after you press f2 or f12? Usually if it gets stuck on lenovo logo it means that there is something wrong with BIOS so you need to reset it. But if happens that it gives you error message after that window it could be a OS error or it could be the HDD is bad.

Try to drain the electrostatic charge of the motherboard. Take out the battery and unplug the power adapter from the computer. Press and hold the power button for 10 secs. Put everything back in then tunr on the computer and observe the issue. If same thing will happen then the problem is somewhere in the motherboard connecting to the battery terminal. You nedd to call Lenovo Support at 18774536686 then option number 2 for repair of the computer.

Sounds like the Windows is already corrupted. You can try to restore the computer back to the original factory state. Please take note that this will delete everything you got ther inside the computer. Turn off the computer the press the one key button beside the power button. Select the one key recovery then press enter. Select restore from initial back then wait unit the computer will be restored.
