if there was a storm ,there is every possibility that there was a power surge that has fired parts of the circuit board
I suggest that you have it check at an electronic shop and get quotes for repairs.

Check and replace the power supply board. It might be faulty. Normally, there is no service to these boards. Only card base replacement can be done, and it is good too.

I would suggest that you may have a contaminated mini switch on your customer on set keypad. If one or more of these switches show a high resistance reading when not pushing on a key, it's contaminated. I usually replace all the switches to correct the issue. Encompassparts.com list this number as the control panel assembly. K0RB00700013, $16.98 for part.
This would be the first thing I would try.
How can I have a full view of a hd station?..
If you have to use the "ASPECT" button on the remote, set the screen to "JUST" it gives you full screen without "morphing" the picture. If you are using HD cable, SAT, Or FIOS, check the main settings menu in the cable/sat/fios box. make sure its 16 x 9 or "Full" If you still have an issue, post a comment with the details of products connected to your TV. Makes and models and I will help you further. Hope this helps.
Panasonic Viera HD LCD
Turn it on, have power and
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board.
if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there are some troubleshoot you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having.

This happens because either the HDMI cables are defective or the signal path goes thru a device that isn't fully HDCP compatible - the system thinks you are trying to copy the movie or whatever without authorisation+ you're a pirate.
