Electrolux washer how to clean the pump filter

Pete Conquest - you saved us!! Thank you!! Your suggestion to use an air compressor in the drain hose to clear the pump clog was genius!! We put a rubber glove over the intake for the hose - popped a hole in it with the air compressor and pushed the air through maximizing the air flow into the hose - it bubbled as you said it would and burped up some sediment from the hose. After that, we successfully drained a few test loads and the error was cleared! All that and no need to take a part the machine or deal with an expensive service visit! Thanks Pete!

Electrolux EIFLW55HMB0, I start the

Are you getting fault code E40? Certainly sounds like a door lock problem. Is the spring on the door catch strong enough to operate the door lock? sometime the plastic moulding that holds the door catch mechanism breaks if the door was forced open. Double check the connector on the new electronic door lock. If not his, may be electronic panel problem, or connections pulled of the board while you were fitting the new door lock.

On my Electrolux Washer EIFLW55HIWO

It's possible that your pressure switch is bad. For that model it's Frigidaire OEM Part #134762010. It's about $40 on line.
This manufacturer-approved water level pressure switch (part number 134762010) is for washers.

Water level pressure switch 134762010 senses and controls the water level in the washer.

Unplug the washer and shut off the water supply before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Electrolux IQ washer stops after 3-5 minutes, LCD says "no water"

I have the same problem, I searched and found an answer but closed the page before I saw all these folks having problems. I realize my post is late for most but for future people looking for this answer the page I found with an answer said this with more words. Behind the machine where the water hose enters the machine is a small screen, remove the hose to access this screen and flush out any particles, replace and you should be fine. I now have to find some strong men to move my stacked machines. Hope this helps.

Door will not open

There is likely a fault. If the water is still in the machine then the cycle has not completed. If its prom night and you need the clothes "now" I would unplug the machine, that should release the lock. Next load I would start with something that can be left in the machine. Use a basic cycle and see what happens. The locking of the door is normal and part of the wash process. The manual "attached link" describes where and when in the process the door will lock. You can try "pause" if the cycle needs to be interrupted. If it happens again look for an error code. http://manuals.electroluxusa.com/prodinfo_pdf/Webster/137023500en.pdf

EIFLS55IIW will not power on

Thank you for your post, friend! I understand that your Frigidaire washer will not power on and you have replaced the black box. If your washer is not receiving any power it could either be an issue with your power cord, control panel, or in home circuit. I would suggest making sure that your household circuit breaker is not switched off or shorted. If the circuit is working properly I would recommend having a professional technician come out in order to provide an accurate diagnosis. If you do not have a professional contact I would check your manufacturer's website for additional assistance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Electrolux E13 error code

The "E13" error code on the WFMC series Bosch washer`s refer to a drainage problem as you may or may not already know. ( or in Bosch terms "pump time exceeded" ) What you may have is either a clogged pump, improper detergent being used, ( must use "HE"/lo-sudsing detergent ) hence suds not allowing a proper drain cycle, or wires loose at the pump...the later being the least likely. You haven`t mentioned if you`ve checked the pump...just hoses as you did mention. Anyway, here`s the most likely way to remedy a E13 code. **Unplug the washer from the wall or turn off the breaker before attempting any repairs** Get some towels and if possible a wet/dry vac. If the machine drained, it won't be too bad. If your machine is stuck full of water, I can't say, hopefully you won't get wet. ( maybe you`re lucky enough to be close to a floor drain ) Locate the round door on the front of the machine (about 6" in diameter, lower right corner) Find a drill bit or small screwdriver that fits in the hole in the round door. Insert the bit into the hole in the door. It will push in a tab, it doesn't take much force. Rotate the hole (clockwise) to 6'oclock and it should come free. (the edges are very sharp so be careful or wear chain-mail gloves). Once the door is out of the way you'll be greeted by a 3-4" plastic cap with wings so you can unscrew it by hand. ( you should also see a red ring with a string attached, if you pull this the door should unlatch, but getting the water out first is usually a good plan ) There is a small collector lip at the bottom of the cap, that is where you can hold the wet/dry vac to catch the water. Unscrew slowly so you don't get flooded, until it is unscrewed all the way out. Now pull out the trap and visually inspect the inside of the pump as well as the filter/trap. Hopefully you'll find the item/debris that initiated the error code. After removing any debris or obstruction`s re-install the button trap/lint filter and plug the washer in to power or reset the breaker and give it a test. Run a load and watch for leaks. Leave the pump access door off until you are sure you screwed the cap in tight and there are no leaks. Ultimately you may have a faulty drain pump, but I would certainly start by performing the things I listed first. Let me know if you require further assistance and if not and this indeed solves your problem, please rate the solution I provided accordingly.

What is electroklux washer code E00

Hi friend, thank you for your inquiry!

On an Electrolux washer the error code "E00" stands for No code stored. This could be a miscommunication I would recommend you perform a reset on your washer. You can do this by flipping the household breaker for roughly ten minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your washer continues to display "E00". I look forward to assisting you. -Matt

Electrolux washing machine wont spin all the way

Not a solution, but I wonder if it thinks you've either selected no spin or it thinks the machine isn't drained and so won't spin or it thinks the load is unbalanced. You seem to have done everything logical so far. Also look at all all connectors Logic seems to dictate that if the motor/motor drive functionality and other diagnostics don't show any problems (although I must admit if it were possible I'd like to try another motor control board just to convince me it wasn't implicated) then it must be a logic/ sensor problem and maybe diagnostic mode doesn't check all sensors in the same way as would happen in normal use? Sorry I can't be of more help. (The motor brushes are probably ok but I'd check them anyway while you are in there) Do let us know if you find anything.
