There is no electrical supply

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but with such a fault it is virtually impossible for anybody on this FixYa forum to guess remotely what is wrong with your washer.
It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB, water inlet control valves, door solenoid, main motor, drain motor etc..

I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Zanussi fx 1465 w program fills with water then

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

I have en error message

E62: Overheating during washing

E12 means a problem filling on dry cycle.

Unplug the appliance, take the top off and check that the plastic condenser below the fan is clear and clean.

If this is ok, the most likely fault is the triple valve isn't opening properly to feed water into the condenser.

It may be that a power off and on is all that is required to make the valve work.
The worst case would be that it's a fault with the main control board.

If you have access to and can use a multimeter you could test and make sure that 240 volts was being supplied to the valve when it goes wrong. This would narrow the fault down.

Ive had it many times when during use the valve fails. So at first it works ok and during use thats when it fails.

What you can do is set it going and say after 20 mins or so unplug it and meter out the dryer coil on the fill valve. Its the green coil. What you will proberbly find is the coil is open circuit.

If so the valve will need to be replaced and it should be back to normal then.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating and POSITIVE TESTIMONIAL are appreciated for answering your FREE question.

My Zanussi washing machine is smelling

I have this problem with my Siemens machine, it is due to mainly running low temp washes and bateria building up in the hoses etc. (more prevalent if the machine is connected directly to the sink and not on a stand pipe). I run a 90 degree cycle every 4 weeks with the machine empty except for two capfuls of baby sterilisng fluid (approx half a mug) I buy stores own as it is cheaper than miltons. The first time I did mine I ran the cycle twice to be sure it was cleared out. My machine is six years old and the first smelly signs were when it was about a year old, I run the maintenance wash religiously ever 4 weeks and run a machine descaler such as oust thru every 4-6 months. Hope this helps. Roni. (ps don't be tempted to use bleach as it foams up and can cause more problems!!)

Zanussi Washer dryer ignoring all programs and just does a pulsing humming sound (Only works well on reset mode)

It seems like you've done a thorough job troubleshooting so far. The E69 error could be related to a heating issue. Since you've already replaced the heating element, it's worth checking the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is a safety device that can sometimes cause E69 errors if it's faulty. Given that you have access to a spare machine, you might consider swapping the thermal fuse from the spare machine to see if it resolves the E69 error on your primary machine. If the spare machine's thermal fuse is in good condition, it could be a step toward identifying and solving the issue without having to switch the drums. Remember to disconnect the power source before attempting any replacements, and I hope this helps you get your tumble dryer back in working order.

Zanussi ZWF1021W Washing Machine bearing replacement?

Take a look at the videos. You will need a bearing and seal kit, plus some grease. You can knock the old bearing out using a large socket on an extension bar. That is also useful for gently seating the seal without damaging it. https://www.google.com/search?q=Zanussi+ZWF1021W+Washing+Machine+bearing+replacement Later machines have the bearings bonded to the drum. Zanussi washing machine door seal metal wire ring has come off, how do I put it back?

To put back the metal wire ring on the door seal of your Zanussi washing machine, you can follow these steps: Ensure safety: Before starting any repair work, make sure the washing machine is unplugged from the power source to avoid any accidents. Locate the groove: Examine the door seal and locate the groove where the metal wire ring needs to be inserted. The wire ring typically fits into a groove on the inner edge of the seal. Position the wire ring: Take the wire ring and position it in your hands so that it forms a complete circle. Make sure the ends of the wire are close together. Start at the top: Begin by inserting one end of the wire ring into the groove at the top of the door seal. Apply gentle pressure and work your way around, pushing the wire into the groove. Use your fingers or pliers: Depending on the size and tightness of the wire ring, you may be able to push it into the groove using your fingers. If it's difficult to do so, you can carefully use a pair of pliers to assist you. Be cautious not to damage the wire or the door seal during this process. Continue around the seal: Slowly and steadily work your way around the door seal, pushing the wire ring into the groove. Take your time to ensure that the wire is securely in place and properly seated within the groove. Double-check the installation: Once you've inserted the entire wire ring into the groove, double-check that it is evenly positioned and properly seated. Ensure that it's securely holding the door seal in place. I'm Sophia and CEO of Homyclean, and I love sharing my amazing cleaning, laundry, bathroom, best washing machine cleaners and maintenance experiences with you. I'll share hassle-free methods and top-notch products for washing and cleaning, fueling your passion for cleanliness. By following these steps, you should be able to successfully put the metal wire ring back on the door seal of your Zanussi washing machine. If you encounter any difficulties or the wire ring doesn't fit properly, it's advisable to consult the manufacturer's manual or seek assistance from a professional technician.

Zanussi Lindo 300..keeps adding water to finishing spin cycle

If your Zanussi Lindo 300 washing machine keeps adding water to the finishing spin cycle, there may be a few possible causes. Here are some steps you can try to diagnose and fix the problem:
  1. Check the Drain Hose: Make sure that the drain hose is not clogged or kinked, which can prevent the water from draining properly. Try removing any blockages or straightening any kinks in the hose.
  2. Check the Water Inlet Valve: The water inlet valve may be faulty, which can cause the washer to continue adding water. You can try cleaning the valve or replacing it if it is faulty.
  3. Check the Pressure Switch: The pressure switch controls the water level in the washer. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to continue adding water. Try cleaning the switch or replacing it if it is faulty.
  4. Check the Control Board: The control board is the brain of the washer and controls all the functions. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to not operate correctly. Try resetting the control board or replacing it if it is faulty.
  5. Check the Door Lock: The door lock may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try cleaning the lock or replacing it if it is faulty.
  6. Check the Motor: The motor may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try resetting the motor or replacing it if it is faulty.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair. They can inspect the washer thoroughly and ensure that it is working correctly and safely.
