HOW TO RESET MY CEMRA

When a camera acts strange, or does things you don't expect, you can start it again, by switching it of an on again. One step up, could be removing the battery and memory card and reinserting them, then switching on again. If that does not help, there must be a serious problem, only to be solved by a professional. For that contact a Sony certified repair centre close to you.

Installing the driver

You don't need a driver. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My camera fell in sea water

My sympathies. If you immediately fished the camera out, removed the battery, rinsed it in fresh water, and let it dry thoroughly before even thinking about putting the battery back in and seeing whether it turns on again, then you MIGHT be able to salvage the camera. Otherwise it's time for a new camera. The pictures on your memory card should be okay. Just rinse the card in fresh water and let it dry before trying to read the card.

My sony cyber shot dsc-w220 has a black lcd

Sound like a malfunctioning CCD-image sensor. Rare, but possible problem with your LCD screenviewer (I dont believed, if you can see Menu icons)... in both cases (LCD or CCD) this isn't a job that you could solve yourself; this wrong include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card. I suggest check THIS LINK for additional details in this previous solutions for an Defective CCD (Charge Coupled Device) and next contact your Sony service. I strongly suggest (taking into consideration the age of your camera) to evaluate the cost of repair versus the cost of a new camera with similar features, before making a final desicion.Hope this helps and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using FixYa.

I have inserted the usb

This problem happens when you scan and delete viruses from the memory card or lets say the drive of your camera. You will be able to see the images in your camera but won't be able to browse them after connecting to your PC. The best thing is to keep your Camera and its Memory Card safe from viruses. However, if your computer detects any viruses, just move to quarantine so that you can restore in future if there is such problem. Don't delete them.. Hope it helps you...
