G.E. gas oven JGBP88SEm2SS keeps going to auto clean automaticly?
This is because your main control board is bad and I'm almost williing to bet that you just re;cently used self clean, correct? Heres a little something about thatThe oven temperature is regulated by a temperature sensor when placed in self clean the sensor is removed from the circuit and full power is applied to both the bake and broil elements causing an the temperature to exceed in some some models up to 1,000 F. I would recommend against using self clean for the simple fact that no oven cavity to this date has been designed to withstand that high of a temperature and therefore excess heat is passed upward resulting in damaged lock mechanisms, control boards, and other electronic components. The most common complaint I have had with built in ovens besides the element burning out, is the oven door locked shut. When I get to the house and I ask to tell me a little bit of whats going on the story always starts " well, I was using the self clean option" or some variation of the sort. Oven will not start Spectra XL44,Model#
HI. This will be the fault of a failed dual oven safety control valve. This is a new type of valve control device, that dose not rely on a coil controlled assembly. This control valve is damaged, thus, causing the issues you are experiencing. This mechanical failure will require you to replace this control valve, asap.
Part number will be

I am getting an err
its a warming drawer sensor shorted indication error.
to fix this the sensor must be checked and repaired by a proper qualified tech.
it is bit tedious job to repair the sensor so just check that the tech who repairs this is enough qualified to repair such units.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the
solution positively .thank you for using fixya
GE XL44 NO POWER
Double check your power going to the unit and verify the voltage is correct. Next, remove the cover where the cord attaches to the range and shine a bright flashlight in this area. Do you see any burnt connections here? Now check the voltage...measuring the two outside terminals. What is this voltage? Waiting to hear from you,Eric and Ann CampionP.S. Center burner doesn't ignite all the way around
I had this same problem. You will need to lift off the burner and remove the two 9/32" nuts and lock washers from the bottom of the center burner. Then separate the top section from the bottom. You will need to clean the inside of both sections down using a green scotchbrite pad removing and debris or small surface film the may have built up. Then rinse with warm water and dry them well. Reassemble it and your burner should work as good as new. Remember even just a small grease film on the burner holes will create this issue.
F1 error code
Hi, the F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced....
