Defective temperature control

I, too, have lost my manual and none of the timers work. I can never remember how long to run the clean cycle for, but will turn it off as it has been a little over 2hours and your post mentions 1.5hours.
I initiate the cleaning cycle by completing steps mentioned above and then turning the top dial (which has a clean range on it) clockwise until the clean light comes on. I then just time it by my watch to turn it all off. Then I wait a couple of hours before attempting to open the door. Don't forget to take the racks out, they are not suppose to go through the Clean cycle.

Assuming this is in the USA there are 3 wires normally in a 240 volt circuit. A black, red and white. Sometimes there is a bare ground wire. The white wire and bare ground wire are basically the same.They connect to the same place in the electrical box. The red and black are your power wires. They would connect top the outside connectors and the white and bare wire (if supplied) would connect to the center connector.

I believe I found the part from a company that provides discontinued and reconditioned parts.

If you cannot find this on the net, contact the GE Appliances parts supplier for your area and order the service manual. Usually these are not free. There is some not easy to do un-assembly required. For safety you'd be best to have a service call from an authorized GE service rep.

It could be a bad lock motor.

Try turning the house breaker of for a few seconds, then back on. Maybe it will reset. I looked for a manual for you, but haven't found one for free. Sorry. If turning the power off doesn't work, come back and we'll try to figure out something.

F2/F3 error message relates to the oven temperature sensor or thermostat faults.

The fix is normally to replace it.
