Turn the unit upside down and remove the screws holding the bottom plate on. After you do that, you will be able to access the belt.

look at the brush box at the top it should have some screws in it (4) undo the screws and lift the top foo the delt is under there
lift the brush roller out to swop the belt but check you fit the roller into its slot right,,,,dont turn the roller end bearings as they have many ways they can fit back in but they need to be set up right first

The model 4460 is for a Victory model which uses Eureka Type AA bags

How to change Vacuum belt?

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Not knowing the name brand or model # most vacuums belt change from the bottom or by removing the top cover to change the belt for an upright, if you have a bottom plate remove the bottom plate and remove the belt, make sure the brushroll spins free and does not have any thread or hair buildup, once that is done slide the belt onto the brushroll pulley and then stretch the belt onto the motor pulley, once on the 2 pulleys then tract the belt and replace the bottom plate – plug in and turn on to check. If you have the type where the top cover comes off it is then the same procedure listed above for the brushroll and belt. If you have a canister with a powerhead there are 2 or 3 screws on the bottom and the top cover would come off and then follow the procedure just like the upright. try taking out the bag and checking to see if the inlet port onthe bottom of the inside of the bag bay is giving any sucion or if you can feel air rushing past your fingers. if there is then there is eiher a full bag, or a clog in oneo f the inlet ports going to the bag that the vacuum cannot clear. also make sure your filters are clear of debree and clean.

Remove the two screws on the top of the hood, usually hidden amongst the four little holes on either side of the top of the hood. This should allow you to lift the hood away and access the belt and brushroll.

Question moved from Cars and trucks category. Remove the base plate and remove the wheels and axle. Remove the hair and threads that was causing the wheel to lock up.
