Yes there is a fuse and odds are you blew it. It is a special fuse which must be replaced by a like unit. I have a tip at

My microwave will run for about 3 to 5 seconds and
hello'
accorddind to the information pass across this means that your oven develop what is call partial contact this partial occur within the maize and the element i.e the wire which pass con rent from the ac to the microwave it self or the heat provider
these wire can be in two or three colour red and any other colour,
this occur when ever your microwave is about to heat up proper
what you need to do is that un scroll your oven to trace the wire connected to element to see which of the wire have been disconnected
after you being able to get which is loss from it position then look at who others are connected then replace the loss wire ti is position then your microwave will then work again has it's expected to
please note this while doing this make sure that your microwave is not connected to any form of power supply.
Good luck and thanks for using fixya.
The Microwave Oven with glass Round Turntable,
Your oven Thermostat has tripped. This can happen either from cooking something too long and the bi medal didn't cool down correctly or a loose wire connector to the thermostat causing it to go out.
This part is located on the very top of the microwave under the cover. part#AP2026103. You can find on this page #61 on the picture. Stay clear of #49 that is a High Voltage Capacitor and can hold a charge up to 4,000volts. Professional Techs know how to discharge it easily and work safely.
With that part changed you will get power back to the board and be able to use your microwave again.
The turntable in the oven
The turntable runs off of an electric motor. The electric motor is not receiving the power from the control board. Or the motor is burn up. More than likely the motor is not bad. Probably the control board is the issue.
When you start the oven
Hi. Check the heating element. Possible there is a need to replace that one. This is the source of the problem.
Doesn't heat

I found a solution for my microwave. Went to Ace and picked up some lag bolts, yellow in color (believe they said it was yellow zinc). Most common seems to be 1/4"-20, but these lag bolts had the smaller thread of 1/4"-28.
I had to go a little shorter in length because the threads don't run the entire length of the bolt. The only downside is that the top of the bolt sticks out inside the cabinet (but only about 3/16"). Well worth it so I didn't have to buy an installation kit that was in the $40-$50 range.
