Charger battery
What is the actual question? You can get replacement battery chargers from ICOM parts depot, look them up at www.icom.com, or get a universal charger from a local Amateur Radio dealer.

Icom bc-179 do not charge the battery
Charging a battery requires two components. A working charger and a functioning battery. The concept is simple. A battery charger must output more voltage than the battery does, and at an acceptable current level. First determine the battery output from the ID sticker, then measure the charger output. It must be 1 or 2 volts more than the battery output. If the charger is working, charge the battery overnight. If the battery does not charge or runs down quickly, the battery must be replaced. All batteries have a limited number of charge cycles. The most common problem with Ni-Cad batteries happens when they are re-charged before they are completely discharged. Recharging a half used Ni-Cad sets up a short term memory and the battery discharges faster than normal.

How to repair ic-v8 tuner
In the USA, repair and service of a radio frequency transmitter requires a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd class FCC license. The other bad news is the radio probably uses a solid-state chip for tuning, so special tools will be needed to remove and install a new chip. This is best left to a factory repair center.

Ic-v85 battery wont charge
battery pack already exhausted or your charger is defective, check your charger by using voltmeter, if there is voltage output more than your battery voltage that means your battery needs replacement.

Zartek 705 and 708 2 way radios
The
705 will operate on (8) frequencies in the 446Mhz range and (5) in the 464Mhz range. The
708 operates on 446Mhz. Please note that the links provided mention they operate in "public frequency band" of South Africa. These radios were not intended to be used in other countries. See below for more.
In the U.S.(and many, many other countries), the 420Mhz - 450Mhz frequency range is set aside by the FCC (and other bodies) for licensed operation by amateur radio operators. Portions of the 460Mhz range is set aside by the FCC for use by Public Safety Agencies - mostly local police and fire departments. In the U.S., the Family Radio Service (FRS is 462Mhz) is an unlicensed band and General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS is 467 Mhz) requires a licensed.
As you might have guessed, unlicensed or unauthorized transmissions are ILLEGAL. You may be fined, imprisoned or both if caught by the FCC. If using these radios in a location other than South Africa, consult that county's communication authority BEFORE transmitting. You cannot transmit legally in the U.S. with these radios.
