I see that you're stating the compressor continues to run on your Frigidaire dehumidifier. What you could be hearing is the fan running. The fan will run when the compressor cuts off so that air can pass over the sensor coils to check the humidity. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
Hey friend, I appreciate your inquiry!
If your Frigidaire dehumidifier is not powering on it could be an issue within the control panel or power cord. I see you checked the outlet it was plugged into, I would test your appliance in another outlet. If you still receive the same response it sounds like it could be a problem within the panel or power cord. Is your appliance under warranty? If so, I would advise you to reach out to the manufacturer to determine any potential remedy. -Matt
Hello friend, thanks for your post!
Based off what you have explained your Frigidaire dehumidifier's compressor cycling off and on could be resolved by a couple of troubleshooting steps. Check the filter to make sure it is not dirty, if the filter is it could cause your dehumidifier to work improperly. Verify nothing is obstructing your appliance from proper intake of air. If you go through those steps and your appliance is still not functioning properly you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the warranty coverage on your dehumidifier and the procedures to any potential remedy. I hope this helps to some degree. -Matt
Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I see you are having difficulty with the bucket not going back into place on your Frigidaire dehumidifier. I would look over the bucket and the inside of your dehumidifier to assure there is no damage done that would be preventing it from being installed correctly. If any damage is visible on your bucket that part can be replaced. If you see damage on the inside of the dehumidifier I would contact the manufacturer to see what kind of additional resolution they could provide. I hope this helps to some degree. -Matt
