Hello! My Triton LE did that yesterday at rehearsal room. It came on twice (by turning it off and on every time the error message appeared), I could play the auditions and demos but when i hit the keys i heard nothing.

Soon after I went home (still with sweat on my forehead and my heart pumping like a pneumatic drill) I connected it and everything was working like nothing ever happened!

So guys, everybody who has the same problem: Don´t panic! I think for me, the power plug at the rehearsal room had a problem. Who thinks of that? Nobody... So check your keyboard on another power plug...If you can, try it in a friends house. Or check your house plugs.

I assume if the Keyboard doesn´t get enough power, the error message appears. Hope that Helps!

Safest thing is to use a transformer. If it is only 35 watts, that is pretty small.

Often you can find a small "control transformer" that has dual primaries for 120/240 volts.

Connect it as an "Autoformer". In this connection you would only need one thaat would handle half the 35 watts... However, the smallest is probably 5 watts giving lots of capabilty. Google "autoformer" to see how to connect it. Essentially the primaries go in series and you take you 110 from one-half this combination.

The secondary of a control transformer used this way would NOT be used but just taped for insulation.

You might contact a heat and ventilation company as they may have one... even one that was removed for very low cost.

Installing RAM on the keyboard is just like installing RAM in your typical computer. Unscrew the plates off the bottom of the keyboard and underneath you will find two parellel slots (usually beige colored) for the memory chips to go in. Simply place the memory chip in the slot. The memory chip has to to be a specific type of memory chip, does not take regular computer RAM. You can find specific kinds on sites such as ebay. Just type "Korg triton RAM" in the search bar.

The Korg Triton 76 is known for this error.
There are usually 2 possible problems.
1) The fuse for the main board has blown, and you must replace it.
This is usually detectable if the unit has a back lit display, and the back light is not on. If it is on, this is usually not the problem.
2) The main board has gone bad, and you must replace it.
There is only one solution to this problem, either buy the replacement unit yourself, and try to repair it yourself, or take it to a reputable repair place in the area.
I hope it is the fuse, it's much easier to pay for, and replace/repair.

Most likely an electronic item could have broken in the circuit board, a resistor, transistor, capacitor, etc. Take it to a technician at a repair shop. Have them take a look at it, usually estimates are free.

Yes just turn over keyboard unsrew metal hatch, Battery is easy to pop out, and you can get a replacement at radio shack or any other battery store it is the cr2032 about 6 bucks most places.

Yes all the setting will be turn into default setting or factory setting . So first look all the setting and note it and remove the battery so that you can get tehr previous setting. Best of luck

Well Try to make a copy from another Computer then Format a new disk then try.. if not working then.. download from internet exemple....Download Korg TR76 Manual for more instruction ...

Once you modify any settings or special effects you have added you must save that file within the program save options you are working in at the time when you made your modifications. Also , your file extension must be whatever is allowed within that program . You cannot change the extension to save it somewhere else or all of your changes will be lost.
