My Acer AL2416W is showing a tint of pink in all images I try to display, I have changed the cables with no change. I have taken the monitor to a new computer and it works fine ( no pink at all ). Why

The problem is in your old computer, the video graphics card is faulty, you mentioned the monitor was hooked up to the new computer and worked fine.

When it's turn on a light will flash and then

Power supply caps or backlight inverter board.
If you are going to DIY and already try the monitor with another PC, and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on: Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed ACER monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/ Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Blacks have changed to blue on my PC Monitor

Can you check your monitor's device settings (on physical buttons on the monitor) and check for changes to the Hue or contrast setting(s)?
It sounds as if the hue or contrast has been adjusted slightly, just enough to be visible.

ViewSonic vg2230 back light keeps going off.

Hello, the inverter has gone out. You need to get a new one, but it might be cheaper to buy a new monitor than have it replaced. If you are able to do it yourself look for it on ebay.

No display

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors - Flickering screen - Screen image disappears after several seconds - Dim screen - Slow start - Power LED on, but no picture - Unusual colors and/or lines The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad. If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced. New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years. Check the cables, connectors and connections. Take it to a repair shop.

The clock on my computer is always running slow and I have to regularily alter it.

Hi,The only way I can think of to 'fix' a pc clock running slow is to set it to automatically sync with an online clock. You could try a program like NetTime (Link Here) and have it automatically sync it so it's the correct time.
