The screen for your laptop is LED type, so no inverter involved. You need to buy a replacement for example here:

My webcam does not work

There could be multiple causes to this. I'll start off with the basics.

1) The software code for your webcam has somehow misaligned itself and you need to reinstall your webcam drivers. Go to the manufacturer's website and update the drivers.
2) Some webcams have a cover on them. It's hard to notice, but it's basically there to protect the lens. Open up this cover and it should work again.
3) It could be completely software-related. If neither of the above steps are working, then try reinstalling the application.
4) If your webcam is an internal one, the best thing you can do is uninstall the webcam through the Device Manager (Imaging Devices), then reinstall it
Hope some of these steps solve your problem. If they don't, post a response here. I'll be happy to assist you further.

When I start this laptop all I get is please

Your execute for your operating system most likely corrupted by a rogue program "virus" or you hard booted the pc too many times and corrupted it. Either way format and reload your operation system with the factory restore disk or restore it if you can from the F key option that goes into the factory partition.

I can't get my note

Hello

When your Advent laptop isn't booting properly, you probably have a problem with your startup disk. When the startup disk is acting up you may take it to a repair shop, or you may save a lot of money and fix it yourself. Windows 7 computers come with built-in software that will allow you to repair your startup disk in just a couple of minutes.

Start your computer and press down on the "F8" key. Click on the "Repair your computer" option in the "Advanced Boot Options" menu that appears on the screen.

Press the "Enter" key.Choose your keyboard layout on the next screen and click the "Next" button.

Click on the "Startup Repair" tool in the "System Recovery Options" screen.

Wait for the computer to repair the start-up disk

How do i download picture from a samsung camera to

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, like Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

I have a Eee note

Take a flashlight to it to see if your backlight is out. If you shine your light at an angle into the screen you might see your operating system. If you do not you either have a loose connection or a bad LCD that will need to be replaced.

I can't get the Notebook

You may need to refresh the USB ports. Follow the instructions below. You do not have to disable the touchpad to use an external mouse.

Follow the steps given below to refresh USB ports.

1. Right-click My Computer icon on the desktop, and then select Properties.
2. Click the Hardware tab.
3. Click the Device Manager button.
4. Click the plus (+) sign to the left of Universal Serial Bus controllers.
5. Right-click the device listed under Universal Serial Bus controller and select Uninstall.
6. Click OK to confirm the removal of the device.

Please note, repeat Steps 5 and 6 until all the devices under Universal Serial Bus Controller are removed.

7. Shut down the computer.

CAUTION: Ensure that the Shut Down option is selected, instead of the Restart option.

8. Wait for 5 seconds and then restart the computer. When the computer restarts, a "Windows has detected new or added hardware" message window will open.

The above steps will refresh the USB ports.

Now connect the USB devices like mouse, video camera, your external usb hard disk...usb hubs...whatever you like and the drivers should install automatically.

Tip: It is always recommended to connect the main usb devices at the rear end usb port, as they require more power to initiate.

Hi my netbook is giving me this error on startup

Is your CE netbook running CE Version 6? If so I can probably help, I have instructions on how to make a recovery "disk" on an SD card. Assuming all of these Chinese 7" "netbooks" are identical, this should restore you to factory-fresh status; I've had to use my recovery card five times so far, as these netbooks frequently dump the OS. I would have to send you a docx document (zipped). Are you still out there?

Click on the start button, go to Programs (like you normally do to get to your webcam) and then go to your webcams software folder (again, like you normally do). Instead of double clicking the icon, however, right-click, hold it and drag it to your desktop. Let go of the button on your desktop, and select CREATE SHORTCUT HERE from the menu that pops up.

Now you should be able to double click that icon to get to your webcam software.

Had a virus.put on kaspersky

If you had antivirus prior to installing Kaspersky then that could be the issue. Having more than one antivirus causes issues since they scan files that are in use. So when one antivirus scans a file, the other does and they loop causing your computer to slow down.
If that isn't the case, I'd recommend booting into safemode, installing Malwarebytes Antimalware and doing a full scan after you update it. Malwarebytes is free and very good. You can boot into safemode by pressing F8 during startup.

You may have a DC connector problem:

Symptoms of a broken power jack1. If you wiggle the power cord or the AC Adapter connector on the back of the laptop, the power LED and battery charge LED start to flicker.2. Battery will not charge in the laptop.3. Laptop runs fine off a charged battery.4. With the AC Adapter connected the laptop appears to be dead. No power LED or battery charge LED activity.5.
