i have new computer but lost my disk to install....how do i do that please help me.

check the driver is installed correctly

Uninstall the software and also disconnect the webcam from the PC. Now shut down the PC and restart. Check the program list to see if the webcam is uninstalled. Now connect to site and download the drivers of the webcam. Once installed connect the webcam as it will be detected as a new device and will install automatically.
now the Icon must appear for opening the webcam. if not there can be errors in the software or the webcam. Try with another PC to confirm.

Web Camera's have to be setup on the program they are to be used

You will not hear yourself echo back in any service. If the other person can't hear you then your mic isn't working, and that can easily be fixed. This webcam technical support article provides step-by-step instructions (with screen shots) showing how to get the webcma mic to work.

1. Go to Start->Control Panel-Sound and Audio Devices.
2. On the Sound and Audio Devices Properties, click on the Voice Tab.
3. On the Voice Playback below click on the Drop-down arrow and see if there is an option to select your Labtec Webcam 1200, if so select it.Furthermore, please try doing the Test Hardware button.

You can get it from the Labtec website. Make sure you get the correct version, should be able to match it by model #.
