Google = EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Free and it should recover most if not all lost photos? I lost several photos on some SD cards and i tried this free program and it worked perfect. There's other free programs like this one but this particular one worked fine for me. It is simple and fast, give it a try.

What type battery for powershotA480

Your camera uses 2 AA batteries, but if you use Alkaline batteries they will drain very fast. You are better off buying rechargeable batteries as you can recharge them several hundred times, cheaper than Duracell or Energizer Alkaline batteries in the long run. If you buy rechargeable batteries make sure you get a high mA capacity the higher the mA which stands for Milliamp Per Hour the longer the battery will last in terms of a charge.

My Canon powershot a480 digital camera keeps on scrolling when i view the picture

When you say that the camera keeps scrolling when you view a picture do mean it scrolls to the next picture ? If so, you probably have it set to Slideshow which will automatically scroll to the next picture. Go to the main menu and look for Slideshow, if it is on turn it off.

How do I transfer my pictures to show on facebook ?

You need a computer. You need to transfer the photos from the camera to the PC via the Interface Cable IFC-400PCU and the power shot software that came on the cd. You may be able to get a card reader device and plug the memory card from the camera in the correct memory card slot of the card reader and then browse the photos via the upload photos browse in facebook on the computer. http://www.manualowl.com/m/Canon/A480/Manual/41542 http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/products/cameras/Digital_Compact/Powershot_A_series/PowerShot_A480.aspx

My Canon PowerShot A480 isn't recognized by my Mac. I don't have a memory card reader on my comp - oddly, an old no name camera prompts Canon software to open as soon as it's plugged in t

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

How do I set a Sony cybershot DSC-W80 to display date and time on pics

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

My A480 stopped transfering images to my computer.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
