This phone is very old. I would recommend either replacing the battery or buying a new one.

I had this same problem. I called customer service and they sent me a new battery. But before the new battery arrived I took the old one out and then put it back in after approx. 2 minutes. The phone started working fine again.

If you changed the code and put in a PIN and forgot it sometimes you can push Menu on the PIN screen to get to the Security code which is 000000 unless you changed that code as well. Mark Customer Support
