How to unlock my apple ibook g4 laptop
You're going to need a bootable disk that came with the machine (or a version of the Mac OS that you know will run on it). You should do a complete custom install, including erasing the original disk.
I think you're going to need Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5) or earlier to get started. You can look for a disk on the internet, or see if you can get one from Apple (try the support forums at apple.com). A G4 is a PowerPC-based machine and isn't supported by the recent OS X versions, which require an Intel-based processor.

Hi, I also had this problem on macbook air 2011, I tried everything but all failed. However, once I used up all its battery and left it like that for 2 days. After that, everything turned back to normal, the shift key worked normally again. Hope this will help you.
How do I unlock my macbook,I forgot my password
- Start up from a Mac OS X Install disc (one whose version is closest to the version of Mac OS X installed). Usually, you can start from the disc by putting it in your computer, restarting, and holding the C key. Or, put it in the computer and click the Install or Restore icon you see in the disc's main window (after which the computer will start from the disc without you needing to hold C). Or, you can use Startup Manager or the Startup Disk preference pane to select the Install disc.
- Choose a language, click the arrow button to continue,
- Mac OS X v10.6 or later: Choose Password Reset from the Utilities menu.
Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.4: Choose Reset Password from the Utilities menu.
Mac OS X v10.3: Choose Reset Password from the Installer menu.

How to set up a PPPoE service name and account
PPPoE stands for Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet, it's basically authentication for ISPs
that use Usernames and Passwords to get you connected to the internet.
If your ISP uses PPPoE you'll have to change the 360's settings to
connect to the Xbox Live service.
Your PPPoE info should have been given to you when you signed up for your internet service(some
ISPs even print the info somewhere on your hub/modem), otherwise you'll
have to call them up and get the info from them. It's also important to
know that if you're ISP doesn't use PPPoE you should leave these
settings blank on your 360 or it won't connect.
Since you haven't connected to the live yet I'll assume you're still on the older dashboard so it should go like this:
Macbook pro resets every time it runs out of power
Your laptop contains a small battery (aside from the regular battery) that saves CMOS information like time/date and a few other settings. When your computer loses all AC/battery power, the settings are reset to factory. You'll need to replace this battery, normally it is a regular disk battery that can be purchased at any hardware store. If you're not tech savvy, you can have a professional technician open up your macbook and it won't cost much more than $100.
