My Macbook doesn't recognize my Epson Stylus 740

Try downloading the driver from the below link. With Snow Leopard, if a printer is plugged in and Snow Leopard doesn't already have the driver, it's supposed to download it via Software Update; however, this sometimes does not work well.

I have lost my sound driver, bluetooth and webcam driver for macbook black A1181

Hi Amit,I'm not sure how you've managed to lose all that as it's all part of the system and not normally accessible to be removed.Bluetooth should have a control in the menu bar next to the wifi sysmbol.Sound control is in system preferences and generally offers several output options - make sure you have not got it set to optical. You can check the webcam by launching Photobooth. If you can see yourself then you have not lost the driver you have a setting incorrect somewhere. - Make sure it's not set to some external device. If not of that produces results, the best thing to do without poking around and causing more trouble is to use your system CDs/DVD and reinstall the system. Don't do the 'Erase and Install' as that will wipe your HD, do the simple install (the first option). If the macbook has been updated then it will warn you and you will have to the the 'Archive and Install' Option. After that you should have your bits working again.

Hey, let me start by saying that uTorrent is a program mainly used for illegally downloading files to your computer, which is never a good idea. That's not to say that it is always illegal, just the only times I've heard of people doing it, was for illegal use, which you should talk over with your friend. It is always a bad idea to pirate software over the internet. Now, on to my assistance.
If the files you downloaded are taking up too much space, than here is what you can do to delete them. First, quit uTorrent. On a Mac, closing a program is not the same as quitting it, so here is how you quit. Go down to your dock (the little bar at the bottom, or the side of your screen with shortcuts to all of your applications) and select uTorrent (the green circle with the silver outline and the white "u" in the middle). The grey status bar at the top of your screen should show an apple logo, followed by "uTorrent, File, etc." If it says a different program name in the place of where "uTorrent" should be, try double clicking the uTorrent logo again. After that, hold down the "command" key (the key on either the left or the right of the spacebar) and the "q" key. Let go after a second. Once you have quit Utorrent, open finder, (the half blue, half white, square face on the left side of your dock) than hold the option key, the command key, and the L key. This should open your downloads folder. Select the files you wish do delete, and drag them to the trash, (the waste basket on the right side of your dock) than open the trash and click the empty button. These files are now permanently deleted from your computer. I would like to give you more help as far as what to do with the files you do want, but I have to know what they are. Email me at [email protected] if you need more help.

Check for a failing hard drive
Trying booting from the Mac OS X install disc. insert the Mac OS X install disc. press the start button, while holding down the "C" key on the keyboard
Once you are running from the disc. go to Disk Utilities select the hard drive click the "repair permissions" button at the bottom.
If you get any red errors listed or it doesn't seem to finish repairing the permissions you have a failing hard drive and it will need to be replaced.
If the repair permissions finishes without any problems. You will have to reinstall the operating system.

AirPort signal strength is directly affected by things like concrete walls and metal ducting. You might want to change the physical location of the Airport to help with signal strength. Placing your Airport router in a central location based on computer usage location will help a lot.
Also changing your routers wireless channel thru Airport Utility can help. Think of it as a lot of people using the same street, it tends to get a little crowded. So changing the street means less traffic.

Macbook screen 2/3 blank. like white blind pulled

I would suggest that this is a problem with either the screen, or the connecting cables. There is no easy way to fix this yourself, so I would recommend taking it to an Apple store, or Apple authorised service provider to get a diagnostic of the problem. Apple stores won't charge you to find out what is wrong, so it might be worth checking it out.

My apple 13" laptop not

I would try a SMC reset first, if that doesn't work for you, a PRAM reset might as well.

To perform a SMC reset, remove the battery from the unit, and remove th e mag safe adapter. now when there is no power going to the unit, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. replace battery, and power and try to start the unit.

To perform a PRAM reset, turn the unit on, as soon as it turns on (before the apple logo pops up) press and hold "CMD" + "Opt"+ "P" + "R". Continue to hold until you hear the unit "chime" 3 to 4 times. then let go and see if it boots up.

Now if these help, then great, your in business, but if you leave it for a while on, and all you see is a folder with a "?", then you most likely have a dead Hard Drive.

My mac laptop will not boot up, a white screen

Two possible things are wrong either your hard drive has failed or your system has corrupted. Put your instal disk in. Start your mac up and hold down the c key. Once it has started check that the hard drive exists by go to the menu bar and selecting the disk utility. If the hard drive shows it means that it is okay. Then run the disk utility check drive and then run the repair permissions. You can then try restarting, if it works then you are back up and running again. If it does not you will need to reinstal your system. You do this by starting up with the instal disk holding down the c key and run the instal script. To keep your hard drive contents you MUST use the preserve users instal which will come up as an option. Do not reformat the hard drive as this will wipe all your information.

If you have been running time machine as your backup operation you could instal a totally clean system and then select the time machine backup once the new system has been laid down using the migration utility in the utilities folder within the applications folder.

If your hard drive does not show up the hard drive is probably a gonner and you will have to purchase a new hard drive and instal a fresh system.

Hope this helps

Excel on mac does not

Well, I have some bad news. The operating system must have Visual Basic libraries in order to be able to create macros. In order to make that possible, the 2008 Office version would have been delayed by at least 2 more years, so Microsoft decided it just isn't worth it.

The bad news is that there isn't any simple and efficient solution to this. I'm sorry I couldn't have helped you more.
