Remove the toner cartridge, and inspect the lenses on the toner meter cycle (TMC) card.It is positioned on the right side of the toner cartridges
Are the lenses blocked, or dirty? Clean them
If damaged replace them

Open up the right front cover, open up the right upper cover, open up the right lower cover. the waste toner cartridge is there facing you, it should just pull out.

Had the same probelm. Resolved it by disabling AutoIP feature in Network Settings. Also set hard IP without DHCP.

First, check the quality of the paper you are using. The fuser will heat the paper, it tends to give a wrinkled effect on the paper. Best bet is to remove the cartriges, open all areas of the printer you can, remove the fuser. Then take a can of air and blow everything out. Reasemble the printer and run a few test pages. The smudges may be worse at first but should clear up. If this does not work, then try replacing the cartridges with a spare if you have one. If you find that it is a certain cartridge that is causing the issue, then you have a bad one. If it makes no difference at all, try to replace the fuser.

A 122.05 or 122.06 Fuser error indicates that the printer/MFP has detected a problem with the fuser unit. A service call will probably be required to solve this issue. However, certain rare occurrences, such as a power fluctuation or a static discharge in the vicinity of the printer/MFP, can cause a false 122.05 or 122.06 error message to appear. In such cases, the error is only temporary and can be easily resolved without service.
Try perform the following steps:

• Power off the printer/MFP, wait 30 seconds, and then power it on again.

Did the error message return?

• If possible, connect the printer/MFP's power cord directly into a grounded wall outlet. In rare instances, a surge protector, extension cord or uninterruptible power supply (UPS), can generate false error messages. Verify also if the printer works on a 110 or 220 volts source. Make sure that the power outlet matches its working voltage rating.
