Remove power and the battery. Replace the power lead and boot normally. Check all is OK power down, add the battery and re boot. Don't use sleep mode it can cause untold issues.

Great answer Larry Larry Ng Aug 27, 2021 what a great question that is, and all time first here, I think first off you you looked at all chip on them MOBO and not the CPU or south bridge. you;d find it, it is usually a 6 or 8 pin SMD chip (a serial flash, EEPROM,. surely you can just look, and find it, the makers are few. like micron or winbond, etc. it is most times closest, to the huge south bride chip , not CPU nor GPU chip. the south bridge loads it at power on time , one of its little jobs.. using 1 wire, serial. i see an 8 pin behind the centered fan jack. south bridge is Mobile Intel HM370 chipset dell no tell you this, it is there design. do you know logos of EEPROM that be first to learn so when you see that logo on 8 pins its bingo moment near the 370 chip; the 370 has SPI pin for flash. the data sheet at intel.com shows, all SPI pins, SPI-I/O pin is one, key pin., what dell used for EEPROM is not documented. it is sold here https://www.laptopschematic.com/dell-g3-... Greetings to you! This error is due the battery. The battery didn't get sufficient power supply. If you are using the duplicate battery I suggest you to purchase a genuine battery from the authorized reseller. before that try the following steps as a first aid and it may help you. follow each step

• First of all, remove the battery on your Dell laptop.
• Turn over the Dell laptop.
• Then pull out to remove the battery
• Wait a few minutes at least 50- 60 seconds.
• Next, start your Dell Laptop.

if this steps didn't work out then it is better it to the authorized service provider and get your gadget replaced with the genuine battery thank you!

The only way is to type the correct password and then you can change it.

Put back the original Hard disk drive and reformat it then install new operating system. You don't need a new or other HDD.

I haven't before this heard of such a thing. I am wondering how you have determined this figure and what exactly you mean - do you mean the 1TB drive is now considerably less than 1TB? Perhaps you mean the available space on the drive is reducing by 10Gb per day? If the latter it suggests your computer is downloading lots of stuff without your knowledge and if the former it suggests the hard drive is failing. I suggest you connect your hard drive to a different computer via a usb adaptor and run the check disc utility and examine the contents to discover whether there is content on it you didn't put there.

Restart the laptop and after the dell logo appears then disappears press the f8 key repeatedly until you see the "Advanced Boot Options" menu. Then highlight "Repair your computer" and press enter.

Press Ctrl-P while booting up Management Engine will open use 'admin' as the password you are required to set up a new p/w, do it. It will prompt and say if you do it will reset, that's what is required! then exit, once it restarts, the error message disappears!! now you can install OS as usual
