Haw to fix this tv power suply
Fixing power supply problems is a skilled work. It will be not so easy for a newbie; and will be dangerous to him/her too.

Tv on ,no picture
does it have sound? if so look on your remote control for a button labled energy saving. this keeps the picture off but keeps the sound on.the button maybe green.
I have a soyo tv and the codes on the setup sheet do not work
Try a code search method. If the remote have codes for your TV, you will won. It is a time taking procedure. Check it. Here the procedure is.Code SearchIf after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your
brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by
following these steps.
- Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
- Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then
release the SETUP button.
- Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator
blinks once, then stays on.
- Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to
be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
- Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes
under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow
the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code
Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the
steps above for Code Search. IDENTIFYING CODES FOUND USING THE SEARCH PROCEDURE
- Press and hold the SETUP until the LED indicator lights steadily. Release
Setup button.
- Press the mode button that matches the equipment you want to identify. The
LED blinks once.
- Press and release SETUP. The LED blinks once.
- To find the first digit, press each number button from 0 to 9 until the LED
blinks. The number you pressed is the first digit of the code.
- Press each number button from 0 to 9 again as above to find the second
digit.
- Press each number button from 0 to 9 again as above to find the third digit.
- Press each number button in turn to find the fourth digit. When the fourth
digit has been found, the LED goes out

The turn on button in
If you had to play with the cord to switch the system ON, then most likely the problem is with the cord or somewhere near the place where the cord is connected on the board.
As for the switch, when you switch it ON does feel like before or is there a change. if there is a change then it could be the switch.
I have a 42in flat
Hello :) how are you? i have this daytek EPT-4202AN plasma that seems to start when i click power botton but the screen doesn't show any images it stays a full black screen?? please if anyone can help me?? I really don't know what to do

Sounds
like a definite power supply issue, once the capacitors on the power board go bad, you will sometimes be able to turn it on still, but eventually it will die completely. If you open the TV, there is
likely a bulging capacitor on the power supply. Even if not a obvious
capacitor problem, the Power board is likely the culprit.
Can buy new one on many websites including shopjimmy.com, or used on ebay.
shopjimmy will give you a list of the compatible parts as well as all the different tvs the board you need can be found in, to give you more options on where to find the part you need.
make
sure you buy based on the part # listed on the board, and not by the
model number of your TV, as there are usually many sub-models that all
have different interior parts, and most are not compatible with
each other.

Make sure it's not plugged into a busted outlet/fuse!! Also see if the remote makes anything happen.

Check at the website linked below and you may find a 'universal' remote (none of them truly are or even can be) that has codes sets available for your Soyo
and the new receiver.
Never buy an 'all-in-one' 'universal remote' without checking the mfr.'s website to ensure that the model you have your eye on will serve for both.
Remotes with a design age older than the devices you wish to control will end up in the drawer.
