no, but have the buttons in question tested with a remote tester, may have had a liquid spilled on the remote and two buttons next to each other are affected, if not the remote it is serious.

if no power indicator at the front panel it was an indication of bad power supply board.if the light indicator is blinking or just stay the cause is either power supply board failure or an error detected in the power inverter board and in the main board.

check your power cord in the back of the tv it might possibly be loose or it could be the power fuse in the tv has blown

Check its back light inverter and CCFL lamps.

you need to replace the LCD panel but this is too expensive so its better to buy a new one with same brand and model so that you have spare parts in case..

check the capacitors and replace the power components.. if not handy with soldering electronics call Tv repairman as you may need to replace capacitors and possibly mother board .. Tv repairman may charge 75-150 dollars depending on cost of Mother board .. good luck

Sounds like a main board issue, but please have the set diagnosed properly. Be aware, some Sanyo main boards can be hard to find and costly !!!

have you checked it on video inputs on rear of set and also on tuner inputs to see if problem on all inputs?

check that speakers are not switched to OFF and also look to see if have sound via one of the rear audio and video inputs with a DVD etc.

Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks/sockets/Cable. Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player. If the problem continues, there are some defects in one or two boards and might require attention by a qualified service technician.
