sounds like the tcon is having issues. You can get replacement Tcon boards from www.tvrepairworld.com

Double check your connections, may I ask which inputs are you using?

What is the model #

Do the flash light test----with set on in a very dark room with the light directed at the screen do you see a faint image or not?

If you can, send me a pic of the screen. You could have a impacted screen or a defective LCD [email protected]

try to unplug it and a cable or sat box if used from power for a while to see if a reboot will help---also the fact you cannot change channel etc means the set experienced some kind of glitch.

try to restore factory settings,,if the problem persisted you have bad/faulty t-con board..
