The blue light is on the TV but the screen is

There aren't any buttons to push on the remote. There are 3 main boards in the TV: Power supply, main, and T-Con board. Do this test. With the TV on shine a flashlight on the screen and look for a faint picture. If you don't see one, then the T-Con board is bad. If you do see one then the backlight driver is not turning on the the white light for the screen. This driver can be on the power supply or the main board. It depends on the model. Since your TV is 10 years old you may want to get a new TV.

What button on remote switches signals from component to AV

Should be a small round button marked 'INPUT' almost dead center of your remote (assuming you are using the original one) between the '-' signs on the volume and channel buttons and just beneath 'MUTE'. Just keep pressing it until AV is displayed. Here is a link to download your manual my friend: http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/mytrevo/myTrevo.jsp?page=man Good luck with that :)

My screeen has gone white

Hello,White screen only / no picture is a sure sign of a failure in the power supply board. Your TV is getting power to the back lights but the control board voltages are not getting through so it is not displaying the picture right. This is an easy repair to do, you will just need to replace the filter capacitors on the power supply board. This Element model is actually made by Funai and is the same as the Polaroid FLX-01911c TV. Here is a repair guide for that model that will show you what needs to be replaced to get your TV back up and running again.http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/repairing-a-polaroid-tla-01911c-with-a-bad-power-supply/I hope this helps you out.BuddyMc

Element tv turns on then goes off or freezes

That is a common indication of a failure in the power supply board filter capacitors. When the filter capacitors go out the voltages coming from the power supply fluctuate and cause all sorts of picture and power up problems. That model is actually made by Funai and is the same as the Polaroid TLA-01911c TV. They use the same power supply board which is the 200-000-xxxxtitx Here is a link to a repair guide for the Polaroid model that will be the same as for your Element TV.http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/repairing-a-polaroid-tla-01911c-with-a-bad-power-supply/I hope this information helps you out.BuddyMc

My Elements FLX - 2210 has lost the ability to

Hello,This is a very common symptom of a power supply that is failing. There are parts called filter capacitors and when they start to fail they can't filter correctly so the power supply can't start. When you keep trying to power it up it will finally do so but the time it takes gets longer and longer as the capacitors get worse until one day it will not power up anymore. The TV uses the same power supply board, the 200-000-xxxxtltx as the Polaroid TLA-01911c TVs. Here is a repair guide for the Polaroid model that shows what to look for and replace on the power supply board to get it back up and running again.http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/repairing-a-polaroid-tla-01911c-with-a-bad-power-supply/I hope this helps,BuddyMc

I have on element flx

As others have stated your problem is most likely caused by bad capacitors on the power supply board. This power supply board is the 200-000-xxxxtltx and is the same board used in the Polaroid TLA-01911 TVs. Here is a repair guide that shows what capacitors to look for and replace on this board to rebuild it. This is much less than buying a new board even if you could find one for sale.http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/repairing-a-polaroid-tla-01911c-with-a-bad-power-supply/I hope this helps,BuddyMc

My XP will not recognize my Element FLX 2210 TV/PC Flat Panel. Is there a driver I can't seem to find or am I to run thru my little ritual until I give up and buy a new monitor?

Hello,Slow picture display like this is usually a symptom of failing filter capacitors on the power supply board. I will take longer and longer for the capacitors to hold a charge and allow the power board to initialize correctly. Here is a link to a repair guide that shows what to look for and replace on the power supply board to rebuild it.http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/repairing-a-polaroid-tla-01911c-with-a-bad-power-supply/I hope this helps,BuddyMc

There is no picture just a black screen. Had it

Look in the back of the tv when its on and see if there's light from the CCFL lamps inside. If so then the timing control board needs to be repaired or replaced. If the lights are off then either the master-or-slave inverter boards need to be repaired or replaced. Get someone who's technically savvy and I'll show them what to do and fix your tv. Get back too me when you can...

Trying to connect our element

Sorry that I can't give you an actual solution, but I've been checking up on this TV all night. 90% of the upset people are that way because they either didn't turn off everthing before messing with plugs, or used an incompatible VGA cable (even though I've never heard of one of those. Be careful back there, Element charges $250 for repairs before they even know what the problem is....
