You have selected an input on the display that is not getting any signal that the display can recognize. Press the source button either on the set or on the remote until you get a signal.

Icant get vcr to play
If you already have the vcr connected to the TV, then you'll need to find which input the vcr is connected to on the TV. Turn the vcr on and put a movie in it to play. Use the TV remote and find the button that sys 'input ' or source'. Press the button and there should be a list of inputs. Scroll through them until you see the movie playing.

Program Blocked errors
I was having the same problem with the constant blue screen appearing with different error codes. Here is how I fixed the problem on my Elements 19": I did a channel search. I found there were 68 analog channels and 274 digital channels. On a hunch, I went into Skip Channels and checked off all the digital channels since I have basic cable. Although the tv is HD and did pick up the basic HD channels, I choose to skip those two since I do not have a cable box on that tv and only the basic channels were in HD (about 8). I watched my tv for two hours and blue screen appeared once every 30 minutes, but the next day it did not appear at all. I concluded that those error messages are because those channels are blocked and we have not checked them off to be skipped. When checking the Skip Channels, as you highlight each channel it will either come in or it will not. You will find the "Blocked Program" errors are coming from channels that do not come in and you will need to skip those channels. I hope you can understand how I solved my blue screen problem on my Elements tv. Good luck!

I'm looking for a power
The replacement SMPS must confirm to the voltage/current sepcifications required for the TV and so it is best to get the same type from the dealer.
However if you are trying to get a universal type the output voltage and the protection should be of correct value or else it can further damage the motherboard.
finally if this was a lightnening strike please confirm if the mother board is working if not investing on a new SMPS should be reconfirmed.
Tips on SMPS repairs click ON:

My TV does not seem
Hello,
One can buy a television and within two weeks, it goes bad, it depends on the quality of the components in the television and how it is being used. Your television lasting for about 4 years means its been used carefully and wisely. And for that you are a good user of your electronic.
There seem to be a problem with the television that is why it is giving you such problem. First of all, you need to know that once there is a component in the unit that is about to go bad, that is when it comes up with such problem.
The most likely causes of this kind of problem is either a capacitor on the power supply board that is about to go bad, which is caused by excessive heat or voltage fluctuation, or the lamp is about to go bad.
You will have to have a repairman run a check on these components and then we will be able to tell the best solution for the television. It should not cost much if it is the lamp or the capacitor that is faulty.
Hope this helped.
Goodluck
