The set will need to be serviced, but sounds like you have a problem with either the power supply or main board.

Blurry picture when hooked up to direct tv.Why?

try lowering the sharpness on your tv, because if the sharpness is to high it will make NonHD objects look blurry, also try changing the input cable or type of input.

Hello, I cannot power on my Element Electronics

Unplug it leave it unplugged for about 10mins. replug it in and turn it on. If that doesnt work. Your going to most likely need to change the fuse for the power current. IF your not sure how to do this find expert repair services near you. It is cheaper to buy a new tv unless you try to do it yourself and end up damaging more

Hi my element flx 2610 hdtv after 3 seconds goes

You need to troubleshoot the problem first to narrow down the cause of the problem. It can be 24vdc power supply problem, or backlight inverter boards problem. Please read my guide to get some understanding first.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on: Please see my basic troubleshooting guide here: http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guide http://www.fixya.com/support/r6150077-basic_lcd_monitors_troubleshooting Failed TV and Monitors: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm Learn about bad caps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague Parts: www.shopjimmy.com Capacitors kit: http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx he can make you a set of caps. Tv comes on briefly then

First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board. if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having. If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on: Please see my basic troubleshooting guide here: http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guide Failed TV and Monitors: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague Parts: www.shopjimmy.com Capacitors kit: http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx he can make you a set of caps.

I turned the tv on today, heard a pop and then no

The power amp mdule may have blown up.
Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be, attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find. You may be better off if the sound does work through the PC speakers, to get the TV repaired; it will be more than $100 and up.

FLX-2610 tv.Has always worked fine. Bought a new

Have you tried using the power button on the TV instead of using the remote?

This could be a stress or overheating issue on the TV. Try to power cycle the TV by unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet and leave it disconnected for about 30 minutes, then turn it back on.

If same problem occur, then it's the power supply board that have gone bad. For power supply board problem, It would be best to contact the manufacturer or a repair tech for second opinion.

Good luck and have a great day!
