What do i do when i turn my tv on and it just blinks red and blue light

Sounds like bad capacitors on the power supply board which is a very famous issue for most LCD TV power supplies.

When i turn on tv runs a while and screen goes blue. turn off power and works for a few minutes and does it again. HOw do i fix it?

To discard or not should be based on cost to fix--blue screen usually means no signal is seen by set--could be minor or major repair--call a few shops and try to get a ballpark estimate.

TV volume got louder and then shut off, when this

Cover the IR (infrared receiver) window on the TV with masking tape or electrical tape and see if it works as expected. If it does, a stray signal may be commanding your TV to behave this way. The commend source could simply be a stuck button on a remote. The next thing would be to remove all the remotes from the room and remove the tape from the TV. Bring the remotes back in one at a time to determine which is causing the problem.

Once isolated, repair or replace the remote.

Tv will not turn on.

Hello,

This model uses the same power supply that is found in many of the Polaroid TVs. The board is model MLT070AX. The failure you are having is a common problem with this board. The repair is easy if you can solder. Check out this link to an article about how to do the repair.

TV was working fine

Hello,

The problem you are having is the power supply in the TV is failing. When you try to power the unit on you get on power or a slow turn on. It also can explain the problem of not running at full 1080p resolution because the higher the resolution the no power is required to operate the TV. Check out the article that explains the problem and how to repair it.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies and Driver downloads (if applicable) as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Element 32" TV does not

Hi.

If the TV stays in standby and does not wake up, then the TV has on protect mode after detecting a fault.
When this happens higher voltages from PSU get shut down to prevent further damage

Try disconnecting power cord for about ten minutes, restart the Tv with no cables attached.

If that does not work, then there is an internal problem, PSU, main board and inverter must be tested. Here a description of general procedure:
Testing LCD TV.

Unless you are a technician, if disconnecting power does not fix the problem, better calling support.
The best way to contact an authorized technician is by ringing the number listed on the owners manual.

TV will not come on unless

Sounds like bad capacitors (caps) inside on the power supply. They are solder in parts, but will cause lots of issues like this - usually when they're cold they won't work right and may crash the computer inside, but trying again and again will heat them up eventually and they'll work. A whole huge batch of them have made it inside tons of different brands of electronics and will cause issues just like this. You can open it up and see if they're bad, and then order the same # types of caps to fix the issue. Like I said, they are solder in parts, but only cost like 50 cents or $1 each.. easy fix if you can disassemble and solder. If they are bad they'll look like this =

bad ones bulge, good ones are flat on the tops

here is a link to my tutorial on bad capacitors:

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
