Check voltage supplied to the back-light inverter board; from the main power regulator board. If there is no voltage; check for the reason. If there is voltage; and still the back-light does not turn on; two possibilities are there. 1. Damaged back-light lamp/s. 2. I have three of these TVs in the shop. They are less than a year old. The signal board is good, the T-con board is good, and the power supply is good. The panel (once called picture tube) is bad. Much too costly for repair. Thanks for asking me.
