w2558hc what PC? what OS? stated, nobody can help you , unless the whole system is stated, in details. guess :1: it wont work as supposed to because you have added other non HP software related to CAM, and they are in conflict. remove that conflicting software or do a HP OS refresh. using HP restore.

Check if its working by using chat messengers like yahoo or msn, but am pretty sure if you look under start-programs there is program for cam in order to veiw it. try this and let me know what happen?

need a plastic wedge tool to pry the front cover from the back. There are latches inside the cover which are interlocked, needing the plastic wedge tool to unlock them. We used to call these a "mac cracker" tool.

undo all the screws and also remove the base plate that will stop you from removing the back of the tv

I've had problems using a widescreen monitor with certain programs/devices when my horizontal resolution is set high enough (for example: 1024), but my vertical resolution is too low (for example: 700). This may be your problem check the display settings and increase if necessary.

The monitor has a usb connector at the back that must be connected to your pc.

There aren't any - when the LCD screen is defective it's cheaper to replace the entire monitor.

You can use a thinner to remove it. Put some thinner on a piece of cloth and rub the place which has sticky adhesive. Rub it hard!
