Code F-10 it don`t dry

F10 is an error code associated with a faulty heating element. You MAY be able to fix this yourself if one of the overtemperature sensors has tripped. Unplug the machine, then try the following: On the back of the machine, the cover for the heater element os a metal bulge that can be unscrewed. Once this is done, there are 2 screws that hold the element onto the housing you have just removed. Undo these and you will see that (depending on the model) there are 2 or 3 overheat sensors. they look like a button with 2 tags on, with a wire connected to each tag. One of these will usually have a little pin hole in it. this is a reset hole, insert a paper clip into the hole and press down, hopefully you will hear a tiny click as the domed bi-metal plate that activates the cutout is pushed out and goes from being concave to convex again. Re-assemble and all should be OK. Things to think about here: Why did the overtemp sensor trip. Sometimes this can be because of a simple overload of drying, or because you didn't clean the filters. More oten than not I have to say, it is because the heating element is old and faulty and needs replacing (You may need to replace the overtemp sensors too) you can get all this stuff from places like Ebay and they are reasonably easy to fit if you are practically minded. The good news is these things fail safe, so the worst effect of trying to fix it is that it still wont work and you are highly unlikely to burn your house down

Can I straight wire my Hotpoint dryer

It is best to leave the plug on the power cable as if there is an issue, it can be isolated from power without delay.

Hotpoint Aquarius dishwasher DWF34S/42 no power - possible fuse blown

Based on your description, it sounds like there was a short circuit in the dishwasher which caused the fuse to blow and the burning smell. It is possible that the burnt connection you are seeing is related to the short circuit. If you have experience with electrical repairs, you can try to identify and replace the burnt connection. However, if you are not comfortable with electrical work, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a qualified technician to avoid any potential safety hazards. In any case, before attempting any repairs, make sure that the dishwasher is disconnected from the power source and that all safety precautions are taken.

Hotpoint CTD80 Clothes Dryer. Shows no error codes but high heat not working. Stats seem fine?

Question edited to add Maker. Question moved to Hotpoint. Most dryers have 2 elements, one for low, and one for medium. High heat is both elements together. My guess is that your medium element has failed and you are only getting low heat. Test with a multimeter or call for service. https://www.google.com/search?q=Hotpoint+Ctd+80+P+tumble+dryer+parts ..

My Hotpoint dryer, tumbler stopped working and start button wont stay on when I push to start? Is this the starter button?

It might be the start button not making contact or it could be the control board. It depends on the model, Hotpoint has made a few in the last 50 years. Whip your multimeter out and check the switch for continuity.

The drum wont spin on my Hotpoint CTD00 dryer

Remove top cover, and see if the belt is intact, if it is then it could be the motor is not working for one reason or another, this would entail further investigation.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
