I have an Amana NED7200TW suddenly stopped working. Power is on, panel lights up. replaced the thermistor still will not start. no error codes come up. What else should I look at?

How about the fuse right beside the thermister? Did you maybe remove a wire from it by accident while replacing thermister? If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61

Amana ned7200tw10 intermittent heating problem. New heating coil installed but dryer does not always run through heating cycle. Codes that come up are 2 and 10 when in diagnouses mode.

Sensors may be coated with waterproof wax from dryer sheets. Wash them with windex. The dryer not sensing moister it THINKS them clothes it dry. Cleaning the sensors works. Try it. The sensors will be behind the filter wall just below the filter on most sensor type dryers. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61

3 year old Amana NED 7200 dryer has film of black grease in drum back portion and grease is on clothes after coming out of dryer.

Check the thermostats for continuity. Sounds like the dryer is getting to hot and may have melted something. There is nothing with grease in that area of the dryer,

I have an Amana NED7200TW dryer that is approx. 2 1/2 years old and am having issues. The first sign of a problem was it would not come back on after running a 40-50 minute cycle. Nothing would come

Open the cabinet and look for lint buildup around the motor. Lint will act like a blanket and hold to heat in on the motor which in turn will cause it to shut down by way of it's safety mechanism. Check that out and post back your findings.

Dryer tries to turn but then shuts off

Hi espichfamilyALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRSYour problem sounds like the drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication, or maybe your drum belt has slipped off of the idler arm pulley this will cause the drum not to roll.Check the belt to see if it has slipped off of the idler arm pulley and also to check the belt condition for wear.Be sure to note the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt.Check your drum rollers for flat spots or wear, if they have flat spots or wear they will make a thumping type of noise. If your drum rollers have too much wear on them replace them.If the drum rollers don't have flat spots or wear on them and are only squeeling then they probably only need lubrication. Remove the rollers and clean the shafts that the roller rolls on, remove any hair, dust, etc from roller and shaft.Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil, or a light lubricant like Vaseline. Reassemble the dryer.Plug back into your electrical receptical. This should solve your noise problem. Please take time to rate me Bud

How to access belt pulley

Hi James WilliamsYou will have to remove the top/front of the dryer and then remove the dryer drum from the inner case.Go to the following webpage and you can see a schematic of your dryer, it will be easier to take a part and reassemble with this schematic. The company also has parts and a toll free number Please take time to rate meBudhttp://www.partselect.com/AdvancedModelSearch.aspx?ModelNum=NED7200TW10&mfgModelNum=&fkMfgID=1You should view this Youtube video, it is not your model dryer, but it will give you some very good ideas how to take yours apart and access the belt pulley.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PY8DgdTbomQ&playnext=1&list=PL7F004559A84354DB&feature=results_video
