It wont heat
Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

The hum sound that you hear is coming from the motor that has gone bad and needs replacement. When the dryer humms and will not work it is the motor that has gone bad, you can also check the wire connections from the control to the motor before replacing it. The error code E63 is a high temperature warning:
If you dryer is under warranty, take advantage of it. If not it may be a failing sensor or possibly a control board.

Error code E64 means Heater Open Circuit. This error appears when the Heating element or wiring to the heating element is defective. To clear the error code (s): Press and hold the far left key under the display and “cancel” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. If the error appears again then you’ll need to check heater coils and connections for open circuits. Use a multimeter to check the heater element, use Rx100 setting on the multimeter. It should display 30-33 K ohms as the resistance. If it is less than this or exceeds this limit then the element has gone bad and you would need to replace the element. Hope this helps...

if this unit is new do not try and fix yourself. if your break anything it will void your warrenty. call electrolux they have great service companys and if they can trouble shot it with you they will overnight the parts to your house and set up service for you. electrolux is a great company and will help you get your dryer fixxed as fast as they can
I need to check that
The blower is located in the front section of this dryer. To access it you have to go thru the front. You have to remove the top 1st and then start disconnecting and taking screws out of the front to remove the whole front panel. Remove the bottom panel also and should be easier. Hope this helps.
