What you do first is unplug it for safety. Remove the filter. Then remove the 2 screws that hold the filter chute to the top of the machine. Then grab each side of the top from the rear and pull slightly forward to release the front and raise the top. Then remove the screws on the front and raise up the front after unplugging the lid switch. Then grab the idler and get the belt loose and lift the drum out as seen in my home movie:Manual and more can be found HERE on my DIY page If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61
You have not mentioned the fault on the dryer as it can be due to no power, a fault in power supply , no program a suspected controller and also no rotation , a possible motor , relay or controller fault. Also if there is no heating check the continuity of the heater coils. if open heater is faulty , if not there no voltage from the controller.
place a jumper wire , between the 2 wires that attach to the start button, if this fixes the problem replace the switch , leaving it on all the time will burn it out since its a momentary switch , if that doesn't fix the problem, then check the door safety switches, and the control thermostats
Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
check outthis electric no heat tip...
the door switch is a 2 part switch,as in when the door is open and the light is on 2 of the 3 terminals will have continuity, when the door is closed the other 2 of the 3 terminals will have continuity so as for the dryer to start and run, there is 1 of these terminals that is common to the other 2 terminals so between that common terminal and either of the other 2 terminals depending where the switch is positioned there will be continuity and the other will be open, then when you change switch position then the open terminal will have continuity and the opposite terminal will be open circuited
is the setting to normal? if it is and you are still having this issue you may want to clean your dryer pipe out because they get full of lint and can also cause fires because of the dryer overheating. or you heating element has gone bad

Hello, Have you checked your vent for blockage? Over time, lint build-up in the vent and in the back of the dryer makes your drying time longer and longer. Unplug the dryer, pull it out and disconnect the vent. Using a flashlight and a vacuum, clean out the back of the dryer that connects to the vent and the vent itself. If you have a long vent line, you'll need to find a away to clean it out to clear any blockage. I use a hand-held plumbers snake that rolls up and pulls out as much length as needed. Then spin it around in the vent to knock off lint attached inside the vent tube walls. It may be easier to do this from the outside, but you can do it from the inside too. Check your outside vent cap for blockage and make sure the vent flap outside is not stuck closed. Also make sure when you push the dryer back into place, that you don't squish the vent tube, if it is made of plastic or foil. After reconnecting the vent, turn on the dryer. The air flow may blow out the lint you have dislodged with the snake. Clean out as necessary at the outside vent. I have a long vent line on my dryer, so I have do this annually. This has helped shorten my dry time every time I do it. Of course, cleaning out the filter regularly, does help too. The more often you clean the filter, the less lint that will build up in the vent . Hope this helps. Douglas
