....i think I got a virus. I was on Firefox when my computer spontaneously shut down.!!!! When I try to restart it the computer tries to restart but then shuts down again within a few seconds....!!!!! The computer doesn't even have time turn the screen on again before it shuts down. ang skit s ulo!!!!!

If your laptop thinks it is running off of battery power, phlash will crop up with an error such as yours. Make sure you are running on AC power, and remove the battery before running phlash.

Some people have successfully reset the charging system with the following procedure:

1. Shut down the computer
2. Close the lid
3. Unplug the AC adapter
4. Remove the battery
5. Plug in the AC adapter
6. Open the lid and turn on the computer
7. Log in to your user account as usual
8. Shut down the computer again, and close the lid
9. Unplug the AC adapter
10. Put the battery back in
11. Plug in the AC adapter, open the computer and start up again

The battery should now charge normally. If this process needs to be repeated any time soon, the small clock and parameter backup battery inside may have gone bad.
