There could be many different problems here:

• Your transmitter may have disconnected wires or a blown circuit board
• The car itself may have disconnected/loose wires or a blown circuit
• The electric engine may be blown

If you have good soldering skills you may be able to reconnect wires, or install a new circuit or engine for cheap. Otherwise you can take it to a shop to get it fixed up, although it may be cheaper just to buy a new one. I hope this helps

Check the Transmitter Antenna and battery. low battery means short range and the antenna could be broken. Have it checked by a radio modeller shop, but first replace new batteries and inspect the antenna. I don't know what brand it is, so I don't know what antenna you have, an extendable antenna or a short stub.

overloading the speed controller, is there grass or hair wrapped around the prop shaft? could be a faulty controller or it could be a range thing as they go into fail safe when they lose signal

How old is battery? How long has battery set without being charged. When they dont charge proble is a depleated cell or battery. Take it to a hobby shop or some one with a tester.

Some of those mini helicopters are just designed bad. Their motor is to weak, the whole setup battery-speed controller-motor-blades is slapped together "hoping it will work". The quality is ridiculous. One heli or one from a certain batch would fly descent, others woudl barely lift of and drop down after a few seconds. The best solution is to return it to the store and by something for more money. But if you want to experiment: 1) Try reducing weight: remove anything that is not necessary off of it. Also, try smaller/lighter battery with same voltage and current rating (smaller capacity=lighter) 2) Try slightly higher voltage. I.e., if it uses NiCD/NIMH batteries, add additional cell. With LiPo's it's a bit complicated, if heli is running of one cell (3.7V) adding another cell will burn it. If it is 2 cells, trying 3 cells might work or might overheat the motor. 3) Try replacing the motor with slightly stronger one. Now you will need to search online, ebay, hobby stores for similar size that you can fit in. Not the easiest thing to do. 4) Again, get rid o fit. it's not worth your time, unless you like to experiment. It will never fly the way you would like it to.
