I have call waiting, caller ID works, but does not display second callers information
First of all, thank you very much Celeste for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs.
The specific feature where you can see the CALLER ID information about the second incoming call is normally called VISUAL CALL WAITING.Often times this is a separate service offered by the local phone company. This service usually costs extra on top of the normal CALLER ID service fee and may not even be available in your area. You will have to contact your local phone service provider to see if they offer this type of service in your particular area and how much it would cost to activate it.
I truly hope that was helpful to you.
Good luck and take care.
Joe.

The display has vanished (or
Hello there, phone displays usually get this way after extensive use. Even after replacing batteries they would still remain this way because the display has become weak as a result of wear and tear. The only way to restore the display is usually to get a replacement display for the unit.Although considering the age of your unit i am not sure if this will be available to purchase. But you could get another phone which uses the same part as the display. Visit your nearest panasonic center to find out if the exact part is still available.
Hope this support has been helpful?
Thank you for visiting FixYa.

No dial tone on 1 handset
either the hand set is bad or it is on the wrong channel. Try resetting the channel instructions can be found here: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG2343.PDF

Have replaced the battery twice
Have you tried charging through another AC adapter. The AC adapter going bad can be possible but It must not charge at all. I am confused how it is charged enough to work for 5 minutes.
try with an different Ac adapter. If the problem still persists then the internal charging system must have failed.
