Panasonic Phone Keeps De-Registering

This solution is for the KX-TG2356 cordless phone The problem you are having is not that the handset is de-registering but your handset is losing the link to the main base. You said you went through 6 handsets then, the only remaining thing that could cause your problem is: A bad handset battery. This would give you all types of connection problems and the Main base. I will begin with replacing the battery. If that does not solve your problem then the problem would be the main base

How can I retrieve a deleted outgoing greeting? My husband passed away and it was his voice on the greeting. Please tell me how I can get it back?!!?

Knowing the importance of this specific case I would highly recommend calling the factory and having the read the chip (s) and retrieve the data aside from that there's no other way for a consumer to retrieve lost greetings unless you might have had it pre-recorded somewheres just in case he wasnt there and you needed to reset up your answering machine. Hopefully this helps. Sorry for your loss by the way .

When a call comes in

your phone gets calls in and will associate the name it reads. For example if your friend JOE calls tthen the system will say Call from Joe. But if the number is unlisted or blocked the Call from Number Available message will sound. If you don't have call display the all number coming in are imarked as Number Available.

WHEN A CALL COMES IN

Hi,

The answer to this is quite involved. You must first prepare the answering system, decide if you want to record your own personal greeting, how long you want the actual recording time to be and number of rings before the machine answers and then set the system to answer on.

This whole process is quite involved and takes up several pages which is impractical to reproduce here, so rather than copying it all here I am providing a link to the manual for this phone.

Please refer to pages 20 to 24 inclusive and 52 to 56 inclusive regarding how to set up the answering machine and how to listen to playback of messages. Link is below;

If the handset works for a while after returning it to the base, I would replace the battery, here is a link where I bought a battery for my Panasonic cordless phone http://www.emtcompany.com/panasonic-kx-tg2356-battery-3-6v-830-mah/pcf104.html

No dial tone on hand set battery is new lights up

Make sure your connection to the phone jack is secure.
Use another wired phone to make sure connection is good to your phone.
Secure connection in back of phone, and plug it in. The base MUST have power to transmit the signal to the handset even if the handset has a fresh charge.
Although the handset is normally linked to the bases, check to make sure via the instructions. To determine if the base recognizes the handset, press the "LOCATE HANDSET" button.
If the hadset responds, the links is there.

Hope this helps
good luck and don't forget to vote!!!

The buttons on the hand set must be dirty, have to

Try giving the keypad a light spritz with WD40, and push each several times. That should clean and lubricate the keys and solve your problem.
