Having trouble replacing trimmer line

Hello. I just answered a similar question not twenty minutes ago. Hope this helps.

Please read all the way through this before beginning to actually rewind the spools.
1. Pull the spool off of the head. Clear the dust and debris out.
2. Note that it is actually two spools that are separated by a disc, and that the disc has a slot in it. The outer spool is the spool closest to the bump head, and the inner spool is the one that fits closest to the machine and has notches in it. If you turn the spool so that the inner spool base is up, you will see that there are decimal numbers next to the notches. The decimal numbers are your line size(s). I say sizes here as some machines will accept more than one line size. You will also notice arrows on the inner spool base, telling you which direction to wind the line on to the spool(s).
3. Wind the inner spool first: Put the end of the line into the hole that is in the core of the inner spool. insert ~1/8". Wind in the direction of the arrows until you get roughly even with the divider between the inner and outer spools. You want to end up with your line 180 degrees from the slot in the divider, and snap the line into the notch that is in the inner spool base. You want about 6" of line beyond the notch. Cut the line, leaving a 6" tail.
4. Wind the outer spool: Wind the outer spool like you did the inner spool, filling the spool as before, and ending at the slot in the divider. Feed the line through the slot and snap it into the notch. Cut a 6" tail as before.
5. Reinsert the spool: Get the spool close to the machine. Insert the tails into the grommets in the head, and snap the head into place.
6. Preparing the line for use: Push the spool in as if you were bumping it against the ground to advance the line. Grab the tails and pull. This will release the line from the notches, and should release about 1" of line in doing so.
You should be good to go.
Every so often, it's a good idea to put some graphite dust into the spool just before putting the spool back onto the machine. This helps when you are advancing the line. I do this every 8 to 10 times I rewind the spools.
If this fails to correct your problem with the spool, it would be best to purchase a replacement spool.
Best regards, --W/D--

Tht240b hedge trimmer. What is the correct fuel mixture?

From the manual...

Always use branded 89 octane unleadedgasoline.
Use genuine two-cycle oil or use a mix between25:1 to 50:1, please consult the oil bottle for theratio or Tanaka dealer.
Only for the state of California at 50:1.
If genuine oil is not available, use an anti-oxidantadded quality oil expressly labeled for air-cooled2-cycle engine use (JASO FC GRADE OIL or ISOEGC GRADE). Do not use BIA or TCW (2-strokewater-cooling type) mixed oil.
